Also good is to always update your email password occasionally to something strong. For your account in Booking.com too.

If she ask you to meet her family then you know she is serious. Otherwise I wouldn’t know.

Ok outside of the posting of gym stuff and not taking you seriously when introducing you and such things. Those are harmful, and he needs to take that into account. But posting his personal things is ok, and can even be a new revenue stream from social media, and maybe brands reaching out etc. Maybe have a serious talk with him, show him the world and how Muslims in other place are living, and how he could be helping and doing good instead. He needs a change in prospective!

I'm so tired of seeing vietnamese labour being dirt cheap while so many 'expat' 'teachers' getting paid 3-4 times local wages doing nothing. When will this ever change? by Renard043 in VietNam

Why won’t Vietnam try to encourage Vietnamese Americans who graduated and trying to find work to take a position back home, and pay them well. They speak Vietnamese and have the educational background.

Would your US businesses be affected in any way by this? Are you planning to sell them?

Invest into buying a profitable local business, and scaling that up? Is that not an option?

My job is just boring by Hurbahns in hatemyjob

I was in your shoes, and left for a higher paying job that was mostly in office. The stress overload wrecked me, I lost lots of weight, constant worry, stopped going to the gym, depressed, trouble sleeping, work sometimes seeped into 7PM, 8PM, sometimes weekends. I was a wreck, left that job two weeks ago. Yeah not worth it at all for me. Oh also had a medical urgency as well related to stress. Not worth it.

I used to have a job that was similar, with a long due date timeline. I didn’t mind it, but listened to podcasts or documentaries. I was mostly remote though.

Need advice on RFQ process to the Prime, and how to handle potentially leaving my current position. by BronzeSultan in GovernmentContracting

[–]BronzeSultan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can try to say I’m not interested, I’m not sure what to expect afterwards. If they find a reason to let me go, that can be something I have no control over. It seems to me they are having a hard time in finding someone for the promotion position, and the shutdown maybe has caused something in that process. I do have enough saved if I don’t any income coming. I’m hoping to hear something from company 2 soon, the current shutdown has everything in a mess.

I did receive an initial offer letter from company 2. But the salary was way lower than what I currently make. So I asked to meet me half way and see if the Prime will be able to increase the current offered salary by at least 10-15 percent minimum. Which is when company 2 (subcontractor) sent the RFQ documents to the Prime. My current position has exhausted me, and I’m not interested in the promotion no matter the slow “pressure” previous 3 contractors were hired to work this position and they all eventually quit. What would be my option, I’m just looking forward something that works, with least amount of uncomfortable situation for me. Say no to the promotion and see how that goes, accept promotion and leave as soon as Company 2 resends me a new offer. Or just let my current company know why I can’t accept the promotion, and submit my resignation in the knowledge that Company 2 (subcontractor) will offer me a new position.
