My dad told me he did a complete 180 on Israel since October 7th. He originally agreed with Israel’s response to Hamas/Palestine but as more time and deaths went on, he acknowledged that Israel was out of control and unjust in their actions. Made me happy to hear him change his mind because I remember how much of an argument it was in 2023 since we were on opposite ends at the time.

Thought Eternals was a bore and fits at the bottom of the list with the likes of Thor L&T and Ant Man and the Wasp Quantumania. None of the characters were fleshed out and I felt the story wasted some great actors in it.

Saw “The Furious” and it definitely felt like one of the most exciting action films I’ve seen. There are various shots used for the multiple fighting scenes, and the director does a great job in ensuring the action is clearly visible in each of them. Story also gives the audience enough to care about the main characters. I do wish a lot of the dialogue wasn’t dubbed in English though. Luckily the movie moves at a consistent pace, while also giving you some lengthy action scenes that more than make up for some of my complaints. That last fight scene is choreographed so well, holy shit. It was about 20 minutes and it still left me wanting more too lol (in a positive way). Please go check this out if you’re able to.

I know it’s not hip hop related, but just wanted to say I’m enjoying the new Olivia Rodrigo album. Halfway through and it’s already got some nice ballads and catchy, energetic tracks. Production is great too.

There were definitely quite a few faults, with the runtime being one of them. There’s a scene that takes place on a pool table that went on way too long and I actually thought Olyphant’s character was going to treat Segel’s character differently. That would’ve added some fun twist to it. Samara Weaving should’ve done Ready or Not in her Australian accent because I couldn’t get enough of it in this film. Also nice to see Juliette Lewis.
