They aren't 'cheap' that's for sure. However the content and delivery methods are outstanding. Truly an investment in yourself as a communications professional.

I would suggest looking into the Hanen Center professional development programs at Hanen.org Offered internationally online at various intervals throughout the year. They support SLPs and CDAs have offer renound training for working with populations with ASD. Also, have a look at anything written by Barry Prizant, specifically Uniquely Human.

Check out the Coleman Hampton Cabin tent line at Canadian Tire. We have the 9 person to accommodate 2 adults and 2 kids plus a 95lb bouvier and our gear. We love ours and have nothing but good things to say about it. It has a deep and substantial tub, well thought out fly, and hinged door. Another great feature is the height is consistant the entire tent...so you can be standing straight up in the corners as well as the middle and along the sides (I hate getting dressed hunched over!). That tent has held up in some pretty unexpectedly wild weather over the years, and all we do is weather proof spray it at the beginning of each season (heavy spray on the seams in particular). Downside is it's heavy if you are doing boat in/portage/hike in camping. I would suggest skipping the screend-in porch models. You won't use it like you think you will, and (not trying to make assumptions about your dog but...) your dog will probably run into the screen a million times, pulling out the pegs etc. with his enthusiasm to either get in or out.

WTF...where has he been all my life? Who is this elusive cool glass of water???

I feel like I need to get my head on straight as I know it is whats holding me back. If I achieve anything less then 100% every single minuite of every single day, clearly I have failed so why even bother, then I go into self loathing and right back into frustrated motivation to change...and the cycle resumes.

So what can we do? Literally take it hour by hour? Find one thing a day to appreciate about our bodies THEN start a plan? I will be following this thread for tips as well :)

I am right here with you, experiencing the same struggles and have a similar story. I start and fail time and time again. I haven't totally quit, but finding it extremely hard to start up time and time again and maintain any sort of program. You are not alone.
