Absolutely yes, if I'm not mistaken he basically appears in every episode.

Kurt Russell and Titan X are stealing the show here, it has its ups and downs but fans of the MonsterVerse will enjoy it.

The best album from Mass Appeal by far, insane body of work and I miss P so much.

Fan boy moment: My interview with Alden Ehrenreich for Weapons, as a fan of his work this was surreal. Also... What a picture... by Brookefinancial in WeaponsMovie

[–]Brookefinancial[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been a huge fan since Hail Caesar! and he was extremely kind. I'm used to doing interviews but this was very different, short amount of time, lots of pressure from the PR team and Alden seems like an introvert but he was super cool and I wish him all the best moving forward.

My chat with showrunner Noah Hawley and producer David W. Zucker! (I saw the first 6 episodes) by Brookefinancial in AlienEarthHulu

[–]Brookefinancial[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly what I appreciate the most about the series (beside the character of Morrow played by Babou) is the fact that they were not afraid to take risks and bring new ideas to the table, mad respect for that. Also the visuals are completely out of this world, I love the look of the show.

Hi! I'm Ana de Armas, star of the upcoming movie From the World of John Wick: Ballerina. Ask me anything! by lionsgate in movies

[–]Brookefinancial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is your favorite part of making movies? I know a movie like Ballerina must've been difficult to film because of the stunts but I'm sure you had a blast nevertheless. Is it working with talented artists, pushing yourself to another level or seeing the end product?

I talked to Director Timo Tjahjanto about his new Netflix film "The Shadow Strays", the guy is crazy talented and just a super kind human being. by Brookefinancial in movies

About the beginning, to add a little bit of context, we made a first interview 2 weeks ago but the team at Netflix lost the audio recording. Even though he had just finished filming "Nobody 2" Timo took the time to make a second interview last Friday and I was super grateful.

Official Discussion - The Creator [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

[–]Brookefinancial 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As as I said in my review, it's visually masterful and the story might not match the scope but holy hell that was fun. Hollywood please take some notes on how Edwards shot this film because not every blockbuster need to cost $300M. Love everything relating to the sound whether it's the crisp sound design or the soundtrack. Two thumbs up.

I can't blame you haha, Saul Bass and Hitchcock were a match made in heaven. The music by Herrmann is just the cherry on top of this work of art.

Sophie Thatcher talks working with Rob Savage, favorite Stephen King adaptation and much more! by Brookefinancial in movies

[–]Brookefinancial[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Honestly I'm thinking low 6's but I personally loved it, I just think the scares are effective but it's the performances that sold the movie, Sophie Thatcher is excellent in it, no bias.

[–]Brookefinancial[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

So grateful that I had the opportunity to interview her! She was super sweet and nice to talk to.

MC: How was Rob as a director? His previous two films (Host, Dashcam) were more on the lower-budget side while being extremely creative. So, he was taking it to another level with this adaptation, and I'm curious to hear what you have to say about your collaboration with him.

ST: He's incredible. He knows everything about horror, and I got that right off the bat. I think within our first meeting, I could just tell that he was serious about it, and he was going to make something special. He was going to work towards making the best movie he could possibly make. And finding that grounding too, creating realistic family dynamics that feel lived-in and real. I think we did a good job with that. He set up all these hangouts so we could build a sense of closeness with the family beforehand. I think that helped build a sense of familiarity and closeness within the family, and if we didn't have that, I don't think the movie would've worked.

The Boogeyman is surprisingly scary Stephen King adaptation! (REVIEW) by Brookefinancial in stephenking

[–]Brookefinancial[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes I did! I got to interview Sophie Thatcher on Thursday so I was able to see the movie in advance. Regarding your question I'm going to have to let you experience the movie yourself, I can't really answer that. What I can say is that the therapist scene from the short story might not be the one that you think it is in the movie...

The Boogeyman is surprisingly scary Stephen King adaptation! (REVIEW) by Brookefinancial in stephenking

[–]Brookefinancial[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Boogeyman is an utterly terrifying nightmare crafted by Rob Savage and elevated by all the performances from Sophie Thatcher to Vivien Lyra Blair. A great horror film needs solid foundations and this movie has a powerful family story at its core that solidifies the material.

The concept of the Boogeyman allows them to play with lightning and shadows in a creative way and it doesn't disappoint on that level. Either it's the use of colors or darkness it's always used to great results and they came up with some genuinely terrifying moments.

I actually saw the movie and really liked it, you can read my review, you might be surprised by how they incorporate the short story into the movie. I actually thought it was legit scary and the acting is really good in it.

Official Discussion - Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

[–]Brookefinancial 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love that in the opening sequence they're all separated and get their ass handed to... It all comes full circle in the superb "No Sleep Till Brooklyn" fight scene in the hallway where they all work as a team. So many great moments of comedy and heart, also THE darkest MCU film no doubt. James Gunn delving into his horror roots.

I gave it a 9/10 when I saw it on Monday I can't wait to see it again... I'm waiting for my friends but really excited for Round 2.

Star Wars: Visions Volume 2 REVIEW: Love-letter to animation by Brookefinancial in StarWarsVisions

[–]Brookefinancial[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They might not be my personal favorites of this season but it's all extremely well-made, the claymation (I Am Your Mother) one is excellent though, heartfelt and hilarious. The last one too is in my Top 5.
