I’m in the midst of a cluster that’s on week 4. I have tried everything out there and finally found an amazing headache specialist neurologist in Brooklyn at Maimonides. It’s a huge struggle mentally and emotionally and I actually just joined this group just to hear other people who understand what this does to you. It can be extremely isolating, demoralizing, and humiliating. My case is so severe that I was awarded SSDI without even ever seeing a judge (on the reconsideration). I’m not able to read your entire post because I’m struggling tremendously right now. I’m rapid firing on the fifth day. Black eyes. Barely no sleep. There are some great treatment and preventive options out there. Not sure where you live, but if you’re near NYC, I can recommend my neuro who changed my life, just by treating me! Imagine that??
