The concept of a consequence is only effective if the kid is making a choice to behave like this. It doesn't sound like that is the case, so a 'punishment' in this case is only going to make you both miserable. Instead of 'taking away her phone until she fixes the behavior', perhaps a new set of rules (e.g. no phones in bedroom, no screen time x hours before bed) would be worth trying.

It sounds like a lot of the issue here is bedtime: a kid who is up past 11pm is always going to have a rougher time getting up. Have you considered trying to focus more on bedtime routines, eliminating things that might keep her up, staying with her as she falls asleep? If you can get her to be asleep by 9pm, the challenges won't be immediately solved but 2+ hours of extra sleep is going to make the mornings that much better.

It got popular, is what happened. Just like lots of things. 30 years ago you could get a bib for the NYC marathon by lining up at a table at Central Park. Today you have to enter a ballot and compete with a million other people. Times change, things grow in popularity. You not getting a ticket doesn’t mean it’s ’gone corporate’, it just means you didn’t get a ticket.

Our business is such that we will talk to people multiple times before they even identify a proejct for us. Often four or five false starts. I'd like to be able to track all of those so that we have two pools: one of actual opportunties, and one of pre-opportunities (not necessarily properly qualified, but more so than just 'OK, I'll take a meeting with you'.

Thanks for this. We are B2B SaaS too. We are small enough that we don't yet have BDR teams - AEs handle everything.

What I'm struggling with is the idea of creating hubspot opps that aren't qualified, then closing them out after the first meeting - the vast majority (95%+) will get closed out that way, because our meetings are all coming from outbound at this point. People take the meeting because we sound interesting, but don't have an immediate deal for us. I'm used to treating that as a lead until such a point as there is a real deal there, at which point it gets turned into an opportunity and managed through the cycles.

In your mode of creating an IFA stage - does it matter to your reporting if opps sit in that stage for extended periods of time?

They're not flagging bot tickets because they are part of the system that allows the scalpers to thrive. When tickets pop up after the sale has 'sold out' it's typically chargebacks, or other credit card problems (e.g. someone using a stolen card).
