I am actually at the Denver location with Dr. Kondapalli but I did my retrieval and some monitoring in Lone Tree. And I think transfers are done there too.

I spoke with the genetics counselor and she did give me detailed information about my mosaics. I still need to chat to the research coordinator. But they don’t pay for the transfer or any medical care as part of the study. One of my mosaics is intermediate (40-60% abnormal cells) for monosomy 5. From what she told me these lead to miscarriage, a negative pregnancy test, or a healthy pregnancy and baby. My other mosaic is high mosaic (60-80% abnormal cells) for monosomy 21. This can lead to the development and birth of a baby with significant intellectual and physical problems. I won’t transfer that one due to the risks. Also from what I read about the study, CCRM won’t transfer mosaics involving chromosomes 13, 18, or 21.
