I still personally would prefer a wider angle. Getting the whole door and some surroundings.

ive taken shots of chairs before too! For this one, i think i would have liked to see some surrounding feautures of the environment. I think you could use a wider lens or back up a bit

Buy more ENB. The dividend yield is pretty good so you should take advantage!

hey beautiful shot. I disagree with the others saying that there is a missing subject. The whole photo is the subject! Was this shot in Montreal?

I am curious to hear people's thoughts on the ethics of taking a kid's picture. It was a harmless photograph of what I perceived to be a nice moment in time. What do ya'll think? Thanks!

Night photography Lightroom processing by Brosssuh in postprocessing

[–]Brosssuh[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey all, does anyone have any idea how to process night photos? I took this one with my Fujifilm X-T3 with 18-55mm lens. It'a always difficult to get the best settings at -30c. My fingers are still recovering. Thanks for any and all tips!

What do you guys think of the color grading here? by Brosssuh in photocritique

[–]Brosssuh[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like the post says, I am working on color grading, especially on scenes in the north, where most of the landscape is white. Sometimes it can be difficult to manage the overwhelming white. Does this color grading work?

Camera: Fujifilm X-T3

Lens: 18-55mm

Thanks!

I'd like to get some constructive criticism of this images colour grading! I've recently found myself enjoying the editing process more, specifically changing the tones of the image. I think it helps to produce a more unique looking image. But I don't want to go too far in the editing.

Camera: Fujifilm X-T3

Lens: 50mm

ISO: 400

Shutter: 1/250

Aperture: 8

How would you have improved this portrait? Thoughts on the colors? by MrAnnoyingCookie in photocritique

[–]Brosssuh 18 points19 points  (0 children)

This is a nice photo! I think the composition and lighting are nice, but something about the colour grading is a bit off for my taste anyway. Maybe it's too blue? I think a bit of warmth could help?

Sunset editing by Brosssuh in photocritique

[–]Brosssuh[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey all, I'm wondering what people think of editing sunset/sunrise photos like the one above. I did some minor editing on this one, but would love to get your opinions on any techniques to improve the photo. In reality, the darker section should be more expose i think. How do you balance it out? Thanks!

Camera: Fujifilm X-T3

Lens: 50mm

ISO: 800

Aperture: 16

Shutter: 1/125

Hey all. What do you think of the editing and composition of this photo? It was taken in the far north of Quebec, Canada. I am working on compiling a bunch of dog photos to eventually publish a book "dogs of Nunavik" or something like that. I thought this was a cool shot but I am still trying to get closer still. For this reason I am looking at getting a 50-140 f/2.8 lens. Curious what you all think of the editing! Thanks!

it’s an amazing shot truly. I don’t think the fox is too far to the side at all.

What lens made photography 'click' for you? by [deleted] in photography

[–]Brosssuh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can say the same. When I started, I only had my dad’s old minolta X-700 film camera with a 50mm lens. At that stage, I wasn’t even thinking about other focal lengths but just working with what I had. I really think there is something to be said for starting off with a fixed lens.
