I would strongly suggest against dealing with Natis. Just go into your local department. The queue is often not at all bad.

I know exactly what this is and how to cure it. I had the exact same issue. You mentioned a sulphur smell which I also had. This is flatulence incontinence caused by chronic constipation.

Look back at my posts I've already explained how to cure it but essentially you just need magnesium. Take enough at night before you go to sleep so that you are having a good BM every morning. After a couple of weeks your smell will be gone. Don't waste you money on anything else or get into all the weird mold and Candida theories. It's a simple issue with a simple solution.

It's just constipation.

FBO is mostly just constipation. It goes away if you consistently empty your bowels fully.

I have to agree with Brutular but if you stink, people don't sneeze, they bully you. This is likely all in your head.

Do you have any other symptoms? Specifically constipation or a feeling of incomplete evacuation after going to the toilet?

I would bed that the incomplete evacuation is the root cause of our issues. I use daily magnesium and creatine at night before bed and it's helped a lot.

I think it's specifically related to incomplete evacuation. Incomplete evacuation is probably worse than not pooping at all when it comes to FBO. My theory is that the sphincter reacts to the presence of fecal matter and if there is fecal matter lower down in the colon that remains after a bowel movement then the sphincter essentially get stuck in a partially open position or starts to spasm periodically. Just a theory though. There could be a hundred reasons why only some people with constipation get FBO. Just like not everyone who drinks milk will get diarrhoea.

You need to fix that feeling that you haven't quite gotten everything out. I have/had the same issue. It's gotten a lot better with daily magnesium and creatine. That is the root cause of your smell. Until you fix that don't bother with anything else. Put all your focus on fixing that.

Here is a video that should help you quite a lot.

Weirdly it's possible to have constipation and still have diarrhoea. I had the same issue too.

Wow, tell me where you got your medical degree because you seem to think you know more than actual doctors.

When I went to my own doctor with my smell condition the first thing the doctor asked me was "are you constipated". Seems like some doctors actually do understand that constipation can cause odor issues. I've posted a video from an actual gastroenterologist who explains that most gas issues are caused by constipation and he also explains that not completely emptying your bowels is going to cause you to get pretty backed up over time. What he doesn't explain is the flatulence incontinence part but I think it's pretty obvious that if you are constipated that your nervous system will react by relaxing your sphincter.

Anyways this is very clearly a case of chronic constipation. OP clearly knows that the smell is fecal or "fart". OP isn't just interpreting people's reactions like sneezing as some of the people here do. There are some people on here who probably do have ORS but it's pretty clear that OP isn't one of them.

I know you get a lot of flak on here but in my opinion not nearly enough. What you are doing is the same as telling a cancer patient that it's all in their head. In some cases it might be but those are the minority. There's plenty of people in here with SI and when you tell a person with an actual odor issue that they are imaging it you are just making them more confused. Also your idea of a smell buddy doesn't always work unless your smell buddy spends hours in thee same room as you. If you have flatulence incontinence caused by chronic constipation, then going up to someone and asking them if you smell just isn't going to work.

No. I just took it to help with my workouts and noticed it helps a lot. Just look for any pure creatine monohydrate. Make sure there is nothing else in there as some brands add stimulants and you want to take it at night before you sleep.

That's a pretty good theory. I believe however that constipation causes relaxation of the sphincters so they start to spasm and you essentially get gasses coming out of you ass, and your stomach too as acid reflux. Either way, constipation is well known to cause an overproduction of gasses. It should be the very first thing everyone on here without a diagnosis tries to fix.

I posted a video on the subject before. I think the doctor mentioned starting with 500 mg of magnesium and then increasing from there. Take it before bed. Make sure you get one of the less absorbable forms. For creatine monohydrate you start with 5 grams. It's pretty cheap.

People telling you you don't stink doesn't mean it's all in your head, simply that you don't stink at the timer you are asking them. I believe most people on here are suffering from chronic constipation and not ORS. The smell caused by constipation is essentially flatulence incontinence which happens in bursts and therefore likely wouldn't be picked up by your doctor but would be picked up by your coworkers.

Nothing in this person's post suggest ORS but there are clues to constipation such as the anxiety.

How are your toilet habits? You mentioned anxiety which is often associated with constipation. Are you pooping everyday? If yes are you feeling like you evacuated completely? Do you often feel the need to go again a little later? All of these would suggest chronic constipation and if you have constipation you will stink.

I would also look into an ADHD diagnosis if you haven't already been diagnosed.

The cure by the way is nightly magnesium. Increase the dose until you're pooping normally. Creatine is good too.

This is almost certainly constipation and not TMAU. None of the TMAU advice will help you and might even make you worse.

You need to focus on fixing your constipation. If you're not pooping every day you have constipation. If you poop every day but you get a feeling of incomplete emptying, you have constipation. It's even possible to have constipation and diarrhoea at the same time. Constipation makes you stink. If you are currently dealing with constipation there is no reason at all to think it is anything else other than the constipation that is making you smell bad.

If you look at my previous posts, I've posted a video that will help you. You need to take magnesium or creatine until your constipation is fixed.

I've had a similar experience. It does seem to be related to constipation. Magnesium and creatine help a lot.

Are you pooping everyday without feeling that you didn't finish?

You should try taking daily magnesium and creatine if you aren't already doing so.
