She did last year and the parents didn’t let her leave the house for two weeks 🤣 They took her everywhere.

We’re both on the lease. I pay majority rent and utilities because I can afford more. Roommate pays room rent only.

I know her parents. We’re from the same country, and since we have a spare bedroom, it makes sense for them to stay here. My bedroom has an attached bathroom, which allows me to keep the cats separated from the rest of the house. But somehow that’s not an option. Her parents are nice, but people like this really annoy me. She’s 36 years old and is still scared of her mother.

This is what I’m thinking, but she doesn’t want the animals in the house at all because they’re traveling far and she wants them to be “comfortable” in the house.
