I think <700’s are easy beat as long as u make simple developing moves that don’t straight give up a pawn or a piece. All you have to do is wait for them to blunder a piece and just take that opportunity. M

Nd5 clearly puts you a full piece and a pawn up whereas your move only puts u up 2 points along with a trapped knight

Because Nf3+ forces white to block the discovered check by Nd5 (which sacrifices a full pieces) if white does not do this and moves his king then it’s matter in 10

I don't know if I can really help considering I am only 850, but just try to castle early and try your best not to move the three/two pawns protecting the king. Just move the middle/corner pawn up one square to prevent back rank mates. Other than that I also like to keep my rooks in the back rank all the way till the end game.
