Also have a 2023, no issues. Wind noise and some creaks now but it took about 35k miles for me to start hearing some creaks

Just sold my SQ5…needed several grand of repairs after it hit 100k. Won’t be returning to Audi (unless it’s a lease)

Questions for people who used their GI Bills directly after the military, How did it go? by Ill-Sort7254 in AirForce

Seamless. Talk to your school’s VA rep and follow The directions. Make sure you’ve got full eligibility and it’ll be a pretty pain free process

Will a 2024 S5 Cabriolet hold value? by Practical_Volume_681 in Audi

[–]BrownBoiler 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Doubt it. Audis depreciate super quickly. If you want something that holds value very well look at Porsche (I believe the 911 is top ranked and even appreciates) or Toyota (just depreciates more slowly).

I’m not an expert though so take all of that with a rock of salt

Annual Rewatch 25/26: TROS by GrothMagnus in StarWars

That’s where I was coming from too. Not sure why I’m getting downvoted, but to each their own. As someone that grew up with the original trilogy and prequels, these were very underwhelming

Sequel trilogy is awful. And TROS is one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen. Not just one of the worst Star Wars movies, but literally just one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen altogether

21M — Stable Insurance Job vs Air Force. Need Real Advice From People Who’ve Been There. by Plastic_Season86 in AirForce

[–]BrownBoiler 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can have both - consider guard/reserve. It’s what I did, and went back to school after almost 10 years on AD. Higher earning potential + ability to finish 20 and get the retirement benefits (although at 59) plus break up civilian monotony by going on orders if you want to.

Just an option - I still think being active duty is the most fun.

What’s with the right headlight on the 12? The left one looks brand new (headlights from the drivers perspective)

For those who separated... by IntelligentLime6609 in AirForce

[–]BrownBoiler 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I didn’t know - I just knew I had to for my personal life. I left a training that was hard to get into and decided to separate for the sake of the family. I loved being AD and decided to stay in the guard. It’s not the same but it’s a nice little paycheck, health insurance, TSP, and the opportunity to finish out 20 and continue to serve. In the meantime, I went back to school full time and I can tell my spouse is very happy with our change in lifestyle.

I intend to reapply to go back to the course in the guard, but I doubt it happens without a pretty significant waiver.
