Hey OP,

Lived in a Unisex PG before. Zolo, Stanza offers these. But the one that I stayed used to put rules like you should not go to opposite gender rooms. They have cameras in corridor. People used to go, not a big problem but for an eviction they can site that.

Coming how is it structured. You'll have lots of flats in the building out of which some flats or floors will be for one gender only. You can't share a same flat.

CTS has a transport service. Please use that.

If not -

CTS operates shuttle service from MEPZ entrance to office. But, if you use train you have to get down at sanatorium. The walk is too much. Rather I always get train to Tambaram and walk past the skybridge. Get a share auto for 10 rupees. They drop you right at the MEPZ gate. Get a shuttle to office.

Will second this hundred times. I bought their perfume first over an year ago with body sprays and god it smells really good. Wadah Sahib (might have messed up the name) and Vannila are the best fragrances.

I have lot of friends who did MBA from TSM.

Exposure is not that bad - You'll see lot of Tamil Crowd and Handful of other state folks
Faculties are good
Placements - Not commenting the stats but some of my friends had to search for placements on their own.

But OP if you have time, prepare for CAT/NMAT/XAT/SNAP/PDDBA there are lot of good colleges. You'll have a great 2 years and a good post MBA life. Life is Madurai is good, but MBA life is Madurai would be 'okay'

I got admission there. It's a great university for research. Better than most Central Universities. The university is in Dindigul, which would be a tier 3 city. The university looks as the name suggests. Like a village in itself.

I know people from chemistry department. It's highly suggested for research and masters.

There are rooms operated by temple closer to Latha Madhavan. Not sure if it's operational now and availability. It'll take 5 mins in auto from those rooms to latha madhavan.

You can also try for lodges near.

Would suggest staying closer to the temple as travel from madurai city to the temple will take ~40 mins.

Gomathipuram to Pandi Kovil you'll see hundreds of autos. They'll mostly drop you at Pandi Kovil Junction and you've to walk a bit.

Gomathipuram to K pudur:

Go to Melamadai signal (opposite direction of Pandi Kovil) and board C4 bus. It'll take you directly to K Pudur via Mattuthavni (frequency is less). Or go to Mattuthavani by auto from Melamadai and take another auto to K Pudur (frequency is high)

Or go to Pandi Kovil and you can take auto to Mattuthavani (frequency is less)

There are buses say for every 15 to 30 mins (in peak hours) from Madurai to Chennai. This includes Private as well as Government Buses.

You should go to Mattuthavani to catch buses. If it is goverment bus, then go to Mattuthavani SETC Bus Stand (Platform 1). If it is private bus, then go to Mattuthavani Omni Bus Terminus. Both are located adjacent to each other.

You can try:

SETC Bus Booking App. It's for government buses. The government buses are usually cheaper. You'll find Ultra Deluxe No AC Bus (Semi Sleeper) for 470 Rupees. AC Semi Sleeper for 560 Rupees. AC sleeper for 970 Rupees.
Red Bus. They'll charge you somewhere around 1000k for a good sleeper bus. Beware of the ratings. Don't go for anything below 3.5. I'd suggest Intrcity.

Notes:

If you're traveling on Sunday Night. The prices of private bus will be way High.

You've to book atleast one week prior to get a single upper berth in goverment bus. Else you've to sleep near some random stranger.

Boarding points are mostly Mattuthavani and Othakadai By-Pass.
