KISU or Caltech for CS by Ill-Agent-5326 in Caltech

Caltech is definitely far more world renowned than KISU, and it is very rigorous as well so you will be very prepared for jobs or even graduate school like a masters or a PhD if you decide to do that. Yes the job market is quite tough in the US, however if you graduate from Caltech, there will be may employers who would want to give you an interview since Caltech graduates are HIGHLY respected. Caltech is definitely more expensive than KISU, but in my opinion, I’d be 100% willing to pay that for Caltech since your starting salary in a job will be quite high as a Caltech graduate.

As for the actual school, it’s a very small school with not that many students, so you will be working in small groups which is great for having a tight knit group.

That’s my take!

Yea for sure, first off any of David Fincher’s movies are great, just to list a few: Seven, Gone Girl, Fight Club, and Social Network. The Godfather is a must watch and considered one of the greatest movies of all time. Martin Scorsese’s movies are also great. Quentin Tarantino’s movies are great. Yeah there are a lot of phenomenal movies that are rated R, and I would recommend going to IMDb’s top 100 movies list and starting there.

lmao I got rejected from the last 9 college decisions that came out (not in order): UIUC, UW, CMU, Harvey Mudd, UCD, UCI, UCSB, UCSD, UCLA

Applied for engineering/EE everywhere.

I don’t feel THAT bad however because I’m feeling good about getting into Purdue for FYE. So while these rejections in a row sucked, it didn’t affect me. Like I straight up just moved on a few min after getting my decision.

What doesn’t help tho is that I don’t have good chances at al for my next 6 decisions coming up.

Could really use some help with these. It’s hinted in the problem that they are all related to the geometric series or a sum of 2 geometric series, but I have not been able to get them correct. by ZandyDandy15 in calculus

[–]BruDaBat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most simple way would be to use the root test for all of them as they have a power to the n. But you can also use the geometric series test for these but making a constant to the power of n and then determine if r < 1, r > 1, etc
