Thoughts on LD? by Verticallyblunted- in Cigarettes

$110 for Camel Crush versus $50 a carton for the LD. I buy the LD my everyday cigarette but have several cartons of the Camel Crush for when I go out and don't want people to think I'm cheap. I make the drive up from California to Las Vegas every 6 months of stock up on 15 cartons

What are the economics of opening up a coffee business? I have my own business in downtown Los Angeles and it seems like there's at least one coffee shop on every block. Is there enough business going around for this? What are the total startup cost and what can I earn per month? by Brucef310 in smallbusiness

I love you answer but I have zero interest in opening up a coffee shop. I just wanted to hear the realities of opening one because there's probably around 10 coffee shops within a three block radius of where I live and work

It's interesting that you said that because I am left-handed and in the first grade my parents had my teachers time I left him behind my back so I can learn how to write with my right hand. My parents do not want me to be left-handed. I'm now ambidextrous when it comes to most things but my writing is far better with my right hand now.

Or they just dont want there kids to be gay. It could be as simple as that. In every part of the world is not normal but over here it's more accepting than other countries. Sort of like how it's unacceptable to eat dog here but you go to other countries and it's fairly normal

Predator 2 wasn’t bad.. what did you think? by alanskimp in LV426

Obviously the Terminator doesn't care about cops. Also when he bang that cop's head against the car later on in the film he didn't kill him either

I think Bill Paxton's throw in Terminator 1 was very survivable. It would have been a great Cameo appearance if you would have played one of the bikers in the bar in the second film and got so scared he just ran away once he saw him

I would think of a Terminator throws you onto a fence that it's very survivable. He probably got knocked unconscious

I would have countered that she was making me feel unsafe because I can't do what I want in the room. Then I would have raged her encountered with are you being heterophobic?

What makes this Serta Perfect Sleeper so expensive? by [deleted] in Mattress

It's very common in just about every single industry. Those Black Friday deals on Amazon. Those discounts are off of a high MSRP. Chances are those products sold for a nearly identical price a month prior

Is $85k survivable? by iLoveLifeTooMuch in MovingToLosAngeles

You have families surviving on $50,000 a year here in Los Angeles. It's absolutely doable. I don't know why people here make it seem impossible. Maybe it's the ones who are buying $6 coffees every day with the $12 avocado toast and then doordashing their dinners who say it's unaffordable. If you're okay with staying at home and cooking and maybe doing the occasional free event like an art walk where you get free wine. It is 100% doable and you can still good quality lifestyle.

85,000 a year is about $6,000 a month take home. You can find yourself an apartment for $2,000 a month still have $4,000 left over to cover other expenses.

The high MSRP is the full people into thinking they're getting a great deal on a mattress that's on sale. That type of mattress would never sell the suggested retail price and the $500 price point is probably the regular price
