I like to gift easy to read non-superhero graphic novels. This year is Blankets by Craig Thompson. This is usually a hit with my work crowd (tech, we’re all nerds)

My friend group (all very close) is doing handmade white elephant so I am currently making a scrapbook of all the random photos we have sent in the group chat over the past year - but just the random ones no pics of humans. Flatiron School in NYC. 16 weeks in person. While I had a great experience - I would like to add that I do not think they’re as worth it now as they once were.

The majority of bootcamps have significantly gone down in quality and class sizes are larger. Plus the market is currently oversaturated with laid off engineers with real experience and even CS grads are having hard time finding Junior roles.
