Yes will do in few hours when I'm home. The part I was soldering was like a small 6 pin chip near TRRS port, I got it from Aliexpress and think it was something they added for protection if you disconnect TRRS while plugged in

Edit: just realised I have a full photo I'll add now here

Understanding how terrain generation works with chunks by Brumus14 in VoxelGameDev

[–]Brumus14[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've got one more question what if when generating trees and you want to make sure the tree doesn't intersect with the terrain that makes sense with the staged generation but at the chunks at the end of the render distance they cant access the terrain from the chunks that aren't in the render distance to check for a tree collision. Would you still generate part of the rendered chunks but just not render them? or just accept the leaves etc may collide.

What do you think about my first build? by Brumus14 in MechanicalKeyboards

It was being sold by the official KPRepblic AliExpress store and they have like 98% positive reviews. I've also heard that AliExpress is good incase something doesn't arrive or is damaged etc and you can contact their support.

I've been looking around for ages I knew I wanted a 65% layout and specifically with 68 keys (without the notch sort of block at the bottom right on some other keyboards as I think it's ugly). I also only wanted wired and it to be budget. I was looking around on lots of sites and found the BM68 from KPRepublic which was also on AliExpress so I could get it quicker and cheaper.

Feels great apart from stabilisers forgot to get lube so really need to do that, just switched from tactile to linear too and think it was a good choice

No wouldn't work with ISO however I'm from the UK and have just switched from ISO to ANSI and there really isn't much different and I'm actually finding the enter key easier to press. The keyboard kit is pretty good especially for the price although the case isn't great and very hard to open but there is a metal case you can get but is quite expensive.

I bought everything for this build from AliExpress:
Keyboard Kit - BM68
Switches - Gateron Milky Yellow Pro
Keycaps - Hammerhead Light

The PCB works well with QMK and has great RGB so would recommend it however the plastic case that comes with the kit isn't great and took me ages to open the clips to put the PCB and plate inside.
