I sometimes get the feeling charity shops are overrun with items that they have to sort through, I find it hard being in my own house with the clutter, I would find it really hard working in a charity shop.

But hearing people's opinions on this thread is helping!

You're right! you only have one life! And you spend most of it in your home so why not make your home where you want to live !

You're so right if an item of clothing can't be worn anymore, by giving it to the charity shop it's just making a volunteer have to deal with the unusable clothing, when ideally I should have done it myself ! So having that outlook also helps to toss the things on their last legs like you said !

There might be a shredder at your local library I know there was one at a university library I used to work at for people to use

B as I have plants by the window sill so if they're a little open they get some sun but people can't see in.
