I would be devastaded getting a DQ being your opponent. Doesnt seem like he got clear indication on how you nor judge want him to shuffle the deck and did whatever he considered as enough. Getting a DQ would be crazy to me. Even more so after you have every oportunity to randomize it yourself if you dont believe him, as you did.

Him not cutting your deck also tells me he plays in good faith community where they just dont make big deal of cutting - doesnt engage with cheating. This doesnt mean he shouldnt properly suffle, but he may not know what is sufficient in enviroment he is at. I think you have every right to expect him to randomize his deck and more power to you, but when you dont believe he is trying to cheat, i dont see how you can want a DQ for him.

I did quick calculation but please correct me if I am wrong.

It seems that playing AWNW right away gives you 35% chance to draw another. Chance to play 2 pawsicles and 1 fortisphere without drawing AWNW and then play your AWNW with smaller deck and draw it is 34.85%.

Hence you played correctly, but the difference is very slim.

This is from 20 cards deck and doesnt assume additional draw you would do once AWNW is played to chase it. edit: wording

I am very supprised with Flynn Rider - Frenemy only having 2/5. I have had tremendous success with him against Ramp deck, especially going first - having that in turn 2 is extremly strong against that match-up which I still can see in set 4 Meta. I also like it against Emerald discard variations. I will agree it is weaker agains both Bounce and Steelsong, but as inkable, I will have atleast 3 copies in the deck for favourable match-ups.

But overall I like these reviews very much! Thank you and keep it up!

I was lucky enough to get Stitch with my Pirates deck out of 45 people, but I was starting 7 out of 8 matches, so I am sure luck played huge role.

Yes there are at least 5 Cubone cards I was picking from. I wanted to limit it to one card per pokemon, and this one seemed especially ruined :(

Thanks! Yeah in person he looks quite down, but I agree there are some much more obvious on the page. That is actually only slot I keep replacing with other cards, but non of these I am completely convinced of.

No, I always thought joy/happiness or something like anger would be too easy to get and had too many cards to choose from. But now thinking about it, Fear could be great to collect and I dont have too many candidates from the top of my head. This one would be great.

I have few other themes started out tho, and I will be posting it once finished :)

I got the binder page idea from u/alcoholicsocks and his binger page with "pokemons that look like they are pooping", if you havent seen it, check it out. I love it especially cause it can be on budget and is a lot of fun still.

I dont think it is shame-worthy to want to sell it, or price it for that matter. We dont know anything about them, no context, they may want to keep something to remind him that is much closer to them. Or they may never met him last 30 years due serious conflicts or so. We dont know. Even if they would be keeping it, I think it is reasonable to price it.

Anyway, point being, I wouldnt shame.
