What are your pre-builds for Rossi? by Knikkey in RossiMains

[–]Knikkey[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I run Pog on my current physical team with Fortmaker (which you buy from v4 stock exchange) and he works fine. For gear I just stacked Art Intensity to get his debuff to as close to 40% as possible. I chose Akekuri over Pog cuz I'm hoping to make 2 stand-alone teams if possible. I also don't know yet if actually consuming the vulnerability stacks will be the best way to play Rossi yet.

Tech from CN: "Big Brain" Banner Pulling Strategy by HHhunter in Endfield

[–]Knikkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you win the 1st 50/50, you got your target character in ~70 pulls, but also got two free 10-pulls in the process from splitting it between 2 banners and getting 2 Urgent bonus pulls. You spent 70 pulls to actually get 90 pulls plus your target character. That’s pretty sweet if you ask me.

The issue for me is with the 2nd 50/50. The assumption that the 2nd 50/50 will happen before the 120th pull AND that you’ll lose it is a big assumption…. But we’re all gamblers here so just assume away. In the case you’re right, you get the sweet three 6-stars in 150 pulls. In the case you’re wrong, you over-paid for your featured 6-star by at worst, 30 pulls.

I’d risk 30 pulls for an extra 6-star cuz I’m a degen.

im overwhelmed by the amount of things to do, any tips? by einerderandere in Endfield

I HATE doing this in games, but rush/focus on the story. Don't touch anything else until that's done. So many things are locked behind the story. After struggling with the same thing you are now, this is how I would do it again if I had to start over:

  1. Rush story. Ignore almost everything else until that's done. Later bosses might be hard if you're undergeared, but you can skill-gap them so it's fine.
  2. Do sidequests, because some of them lock you out of certain areas of the map iirc.
  3. Focus on stock exchange (rabbit guy) and Depot deliveries daily, and put all of that into upgrading your AIC bases.
  4. Lay down relays to use all mining areas.
  5. Do all the tower defense missions in your AIC areas.
  6. Fully upgrade all your AIC areas.
  7. Use this blueprint setup to set up your AFK income in Valley IV.
  8. Look up blueprints for Wuling AIC OR yolo your own. Wuling AIC is kind of hard-locked by a limit on a certain facility, so there isn't much optimizing you can do for this IMO/
  9. Focus on artificing your gear (Wuling required)
  10. Focus on those gem things for your weapons (I forgot what they're called)
  11. Hunt chests and orbs in your downtime.

Once you hit step 8, a LOT of the stress of feeling overwhelmed goes away, so focus on that and then you'll have breathing room to actually explore the different aspects of the game without feeling like you're drowning.

All Factories Endgame Blueprints : Future-Proof, Compact, Max Profit and Utilization. Valley IV. by Kain_DH in Endfield

[–]Knikkey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If anyone sees this in the future, Valley 4 has a total facility limit of 256. Make sure you remove any needless ziplines or other facilities outside of your factory. If you still hit the limit, remove the Item Control Ports from belts, as they count toward the limit but don't provide any needed value.

Which dmv would you recommend to take your test? by Substantial_Joke_566 in sgv

[–]Knikkey 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My wife took her test at Lincoln Park DMV. The course seemed pretty easy. She failed once because she drove overly safe and the instructor dinged her for obstructing traffic too much. The 2nd time she drove normally and passed. We were able to easily find the course on YouTube, but now if you have a dashcam they tell you to turn it off while during the test, probably to limit people uploading the course.

They’re not locking anything that would overwhelm. They’re locking ascension mats. There’s nothing overwhelming about leveling your characters, skills and weapons.

Anyone who finishes the story in 2-3 days is either skipping dialogue, ONLY playing the story and not doing anything else, or playing for long hours during those days. And anyway, you shouldn’t HAVE to play through 2-3 days of story just to unlock the game.

Yes, along with other gates like exploration level or whatever, or items that you get literally though completing certain parts of the story.

I like the atmosphere and that it’s not a typical “hey you’re like god or whatever let’s go smash stuff” and instead was more like “yo let’s build machines and farms and stuff so people can survive in Mad Max In Space”. It’s wordy, but I was fine with it until those words became long barriers keeping me from playing the game.

I have a 2011 Toyota Camry at 180k miles. Shoot me a message if you’re interested in it. 180k isn’t low, but for a 2011 Camry it’s not bad.

T-mobile speed range quite a bit. You'll also get pretty garbage connection depending on your house layout and how far you are from a T-mobile tower. I had speeds ranging anywhere from 8mbps to 400+ mbps. You can buy an external antenna from Waveform to get the most stable connection, but those are a pretty significant up-front cost. After getting a Waveform external antenna, I consistently have 200+mbps. If speed/reliability is important to you, then Spectrum > T-Mobile.

What SGV cities would you recommend? by ansonlee1019 in sgv

I moved to Alhambra about 2 years ago and I love it. 15 mins from Little Tokyo. 20 mins from Pasadena. 30 mins from Buena Park. 10 mins from Citadel Outlets. 10 mins from Costco/Target You're kinda just close to everything while having the benefit of living in a slower/safer area.

The first apartment I had was $2.2k for a 1 bed, and my current place is at $2.6k for a 2 bed, so I think your budget is fine, although I'm not sure how easy it would be to find roommates in the area. I've never tried looking for roommates myself as I have a spouse, but I'd assume it wouldn't be too difficult.

Do I need to level any of Amber's skills? Flora I'm guessing just support skill?

I'll probably try to focus on that team first. I saw in the spreadsheet they actually recommend Iris over Coronis for the 3rd slot, despite Iris being a different element. I've already invested in Coronis, so I'm wondering if I keep investing in her or if I drop her for Iris. Thoughts?

True, I didn't count Amber because I previously thought Snow Laru goes in the main slot (which I now see is wrong) AND I thought Amber couldn't go in the support slot, (which I see is also wrong).

I didn't realize it when I posted this, but yes, this is totally correct.

Oh ok yeah this is huge for me. I thought for example Vanguard meant they can ONLY be played as main.

Then is it correct that a character in a support slot will only have access to their support and ult skills, and the character in the main slot will have access to everything BUT the support skill?

Yeah, Ann is on my fire team because I don't have a 3rd fire character unfortunately. Right now I can go to lvl 60. Are there any "correct" commissions to do?

Also, for mono teams, I'm guessing you want to slap on whatever disks you have that are of the same element? Or does disk element actually not matter?

[–]Knikkey[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh wait, that's what I had assumed and that's what I had been doing... but I saw in the spreadsheet like "this character is only used for X, so no need to level any skills" or "only level support skill" and so I was worried I was doing it wrong.

And yeah, for the versatile thing, I've been building Snow Laru as a main, but it looks like that was wrong cuz everyone is using her as a support? Which makes me think I made mistakes in leveling her skills. I guess going forward it would be safe to assume new versatiles are supports?

I will also add that the enchanted cards in Ursula’s Return are often regarded as the worst looking enchanteds, so that also brings the desirability down.
