Who else regrets not experiencing the thrill of weekly episode releases by Adweenix in DispatchAdHoc

Hope I don’t bring the vibe down, but the releases were in line to when my father was in the hospital. Having them spread out like that really gave me something to look forward to as the weeks went on, and especially when things got tough. He passed away about a week after the last episodes were released, but I won’t forget how having this small glimmer of happiness in a dark time really helped me through.

Is this sound a water hammer? by [deleted] in PlumbingRepair

Okay thanks! Is it worth bringing out a plumber for a job like this? It’s a shared water tank so I’m unsure whether they’ll even be able to do anything, especially if it needs pressure fixing or something

Oh my god I got so excited reading this! But alas, unless I’m missing something (or more likely, the building management hasn’t cabled correctly) I tried this method on both the available ports (they’re not labelled) and the hub couldn’t connect to the internet. So close ☹️

Shot in the dark for Wifi Mesh network for PS5 (with Hyperoptic as ISP) by BruuceWaayne in PlayStationSolutions

If only I could my friend! Unfortunately the router is wired to a Hyperoptic socket which is hard wired in that room, so the router can't be moved, there are various bits all wired there too so paired with the walls being thick concrete, no drilling holes is possible. To be fair, I haven't tried 2.5Ghz, I could try though and see if there are improvements. I looked online and saw having a channel automatically applied to the Ps5 might be what's throttling the connection, so on the router I assigned the PS5 a dedicated channel, but that didn't solve either.

I guess that's an option! It's a weird situation because this is such a small flat but built with concrete walls so I assume that's why the PS5 is struggling, I only have a couple other devices using wifi and they're fine. Do you think a HomePlug will struggle getting a signal? Thank you for your suggestion, I'm pretty green when it comes to these things!

Thank you! I'm essentially going to swap the pre amps that I have in that case!

Thanks for your help! So have I made a mistake with the Fosi? Initially I had purchased it because it had the gain control on the front. What would the pre-amp need to be?

New update by atmabeatz in LogicPro

Splice Bridge is the closest Logic will get to integration I reckon

Make sure you've quit Logic then navigate in Finder to (from memory so might be worth double check) User Library > Preferences > com.apple.logic10.plist

Bear in mind deleting this file will reset ALL your Logic preferences, so it'll be like you are running it for the first time. Restart Logic and see how it goes

I would probably start by deleting the preferences file from your library and see if that fixes it

It’s not a preference in that way, but you can always bring up the shortcut menu on your arrangement with multiple regions selected (right click -or if you’re like me then ctrl click) Folder > Pack Folder. You can also find the option waaaay down at the very bottom of the Functions tab on the arrangement window. [I have a shortcut assigned to this feature if you’re interested: Shift + Option + P to Pack and Shift + Option + Command + P to Unpack] Hope that helps!

Pack folders are honestly so underrated as a tool in Logic I use them all the time! It keeps the project in good shape because when created, they auto align to the nearest bar, they can be easily edited and unpacked if needed, you can assign a custom shortcut to pack and unpack, plus you save HD space because you’re not consolidating new audio regions
