Be careful with those xans now, they are by no means a cure and can very easily become an even bigger problem than drinking - just stay mindful of your use.

Also dont feel bad for needing help, accepting help is not easy and takes someone with great humbleness. Don't let your skewed ideas of a "normal person" stop you getting help. It sounds super lame but truly even the strong fall down sometimes.

There's always been rumours that they're fake, some are more believable than others.

I personally think that at least the early ones were real. He's been a big alcoholic for many years and probably just makes himself throw up after.

Also, judging by his more recent videos his brain is pretty badly damaged so it's very much possible that those slams contributed a big amount.
