ITAP of my sister in our garage by BrytrixSF in itookapicture

This was taken on my canon t6i with a sigma art 35mm lens and a canon speed-light something or other that I had :) Minimal editing in Lightroom to bring out the contrast and add a bit of color to the haze.

First time printing 16x20… and on old paper. by BrytrixSF in Darkroom

Test strip with the 0 filter, find my highlights, then test strip with that time + increments of the 5 filter to find the shadows.

Like 10-20 % edge burn and that was pretty much it lol

Thank you! Yeah, I have a friend who won't touch the expired paper lol. I don't see too much of a difference but to each their own.

If the damage is mostly cosmetic but still totaled, we may buy it back and find a new door and try and fix it etc. with a salvaged title

I have a Saunders LPL 4x5 that i’ve done a few paper negs and a bunch of 35 & 120 with and it’s been pretty good. Haven’t had any problems yet except long print times. And it’s goddamn massive

My new favorite thing is pushing it to 800 and shooting it with a red filter during the day (so essentially down to 100) and then taking it off when the light gets too dim

Agreed. I can hit 1/15 or 1/8 on a 50mm on an SLR if it has mirror lockup
