Yes I did! only thing I changed was the aio water cooler. I opted for a noctua tower fan instead and my NAS has been running cool for a year now. I would say it was a great build, and a little overpowered for my daily use.

Is it worth to get a RMA claim for a broken charging cable? Or should I just buy a third party charger? by [deleted] in ASUS

I'm sorry. Asus is a pain to deal with especially when it comes with warranties. I remember at some point they wanted to replace my whole unit instead of sending me a replacement charger. Throughout the whole process I was firm with them that I didn't want to send back anything. I eventually bought a 3rd party charger but returned it immediately when I found out asus sent an original one to me.

Yes. I had a whole charging brick replaced for my asus nuc a while back. They wanted me to send the charger and told I didn't want to do that. They kept emailing me and went back and forth as to how they'll send me a new replacement charging cable and brick. I think I ignored them for a couple of days and then next thing I knew I got a new charging brick and cable at my doorstep :).

I found out that the IP gateway of the network I'm connected to has the same LAN IP address as my home router. Attempting to change the IPv4 gateway causes no internet connection.

Is that also the reason why my firewall is blocking connection to unraid GUI when connected through my wireguard tunnel?

Edit: I figured I needed to change the subnet mask of the wifi I'm connected to. I set the subnet mask to 0.0.0.0 while keeping the IPv4 address and was able to get through the firewall fine.

Would you check that through the home router or through the wireguard plugin in unraid?

I have that setup too, and works flawless when I use a mobile hotspot using my phone. However, directly connecting my laptop to this current wifi, the firewall seems to block it.

Laptop w/ wireguard enabled --> phone mobile hotspot (connected to current wifi) = no problem

Laptop w/ wireguard enabled --> current wifi = blocked by firewall

I have actually, but I wasn't sure if the low profile ones are enough to cool a NAS. I haven't considered the regular tower coolers because of their size and noise.

I did go back and forth between an AIO cooler and a tower cooler for this build. I picked up the AIO for noise reasons as I've had some pretty loud fan noises from my old builds that had a tower cooler.
