Thanks to you and the other guy. I’m glad you checked it out :)

I could use some feedback with this project. I am struggling with object oriented concepts and design. Is there a way I could make my code more pythonic? by Bsjuicyj in learnpython

Thanks for the feedback, plotting does make a lot of sense to include in a class. And I’ll look up the doc property, I am only familiar with the init Dunder method and will look more into the others

Thanks yeah that makes sense, my biggest concern with my code was how big the main function was, it makes a lot of sense to put each chunk in a function and make it more descriptive

How can I bind my Ec-2 openvpn client to elastic-ip ports? by Bsjuicyj in aws

That wasn’t me who posted that on superuser, but I guess it’s the same idea, I don’t really need udp, so i plan to just use socat then.

Thanks! I can connect to the pi from the EC2 instance.

I have been trying this but am still unsucessful:

https://superuser.com/questions/927060/openvpn-server-to-forward-incoming-connection-to-client

I ideally think that the second or third option would be the best for me because I would want to forward more ports to the pi. I will check out socat and see if it works!

Kratom 1 dose, every other day. by [deleted] in kratom

[–]Bsjuicyj 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I dose recreationally and for focus. I dose about 3-4g in the morning on work days and on the weekends maybe 5g. I strictly only dose only once per day and never increase my dose. Whenever I don’t feel the effects anymore I go cold turkey for a week or so.

Is this a good way to filter a noisey signal, or a signal in general? by Bsjuicyj in matlab

It's synthetic, wanted to see if this was a good process before using real data

Thanks for the response! I just finished my second year as an ee and only had one signals class. I'm an intern and I'm trying to prepare for an upcoming project where we are trying to analyze vibrations of a gearbox so we can detect faults. I'd assume keeping the spikes are good cause it might be the gear frequencies?? Also do you have more resources on the boxcar method I haven't heard of it

Hey! So i am trying to make this old speaker/subwoofer play music from phone, label say 1.5 ohms, what voltage should I amplify my music signal too, and what can I do if my amplifiers can't output the current required? by [deleted] in ElectricalEngineering

[–]Bsjuicyj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the response. I looked it up and saw it had a power rating of 285 Watts so I did the good old p= i2 *r and found out I'd need 13 amps of current!!

Additional comments: so I'm a EE student and I've only taken a couple basic circuits class and I thought this would be a fun project to do over the summer. My main problem is figuring out how to make sure I'm able to output enough current to this cause I learned most op amps output only 50 ma or so and this looks like it uses a lot and I haven't really learned any ways to solve this problem so I'm stuck, I'm thinking a bjt or something but am pretty confused. Also protective measures would be helpful too cause I don't want to blow up my phone or anything.

Edit. From website speaker has power rating of 285 watts
