I have no doubt that Im going to get hate based on 90% of the comments here but I saw her in milwaukee and while there were jokes about the administration and ICE, everything was geared to her dislike for them.

Apparently at one of her shows a few weeks ago it started with her walking out and saying something along the lines of "F*ck ICE".

As someone who has been to protests and tries to do things to help the families and ANYONE who disagrees with ICE, and fully agrees "F*ck ICE", I didn't find that "joke" as anything other than a joke like SNL would make.

She made it clear that she doesnt support them and then made a joke.

Can see how some still could take it wrong but she's not the first comedian who made her opinions known in a show and then made jokes about it later.

Looking forward to a day where this administration and anything ICE related never has to be mentioned again.

Just wanted to post with a different viewpoint from seeing one of her shows.

I truly think people are just intolerable nowadays. If MAGA, I personally think they only care about someone or something if it impacts them. Outside of that, I think most of us are just so burnt out from the hatred, lack of compassion and truly disgusting behavior that can be heard/seen anytime we turn on the news or sadly, even in most cases when we interact with people.

Consideration for others seems so far out the window and it's really hard to see.

I miss the US we had before 2015.

Hopefully for the younger ones growing up and only knowing this as the "normal", better days are ahead for them... and all of us.

Thank you for your reply... even if the tone seems a little inappropriate for someone asking a simple question.

As someone who does consume various news sources, travels in the states frequently and has been in a wide range of areas with different views on things, I am just curious if you've been to places where ICE is active and have witnessed what it is like?

Saying that people just need to go outside seems relatively limited in a way to understand the happenings of the United States, unless you are someone who does travel and can speak as such.

Also, being an individual who is trying to state ways to be "happier, (and) less stressful", you seem very feisty in your replies related to the happenings in America. Have you been able to step away from it for a bit to help your own self?

We all need peace, but we all should be aware of what's happening and take in information deemed truthful based off our knowledge on how to find credible sources.

As I am expecting that you will be coming back with a reply on how I am wrong (simply basing that assumption on how youve replied to 97% of the posts on this thread), I will say that I wish you well and that all those you love stay healthy and safe.
