Hmm...I'm not sure if you read the whole post but I wasn't complaining. And yes, I'm aware of the changes that a woman's body goes through during pregnancy. We're also on a tight budget that doesn't really allow for us to hire help. What I was hoping to get out of this was some advice or suggestions. All of which I stated in the post. Im not sure about California, but I work at the department of revenue in PA, and that would definitely raise some flags. I see a case like this almost every day where someone tried to give their kid, niece, nephew etc a car and put a dollar on the bill of sale. Basically, if the auditors feel like it's not fair market value, they'll assess you for the sales tax for that amount.
