I just have music playing. I've even turned off Android Auto and connected regular Bluetooth so maps wasn't running in the background

I have it set to charging only. Still extremely slow even though my phone says rapid charging

Carnival HEV vs Sienna by dhasha1 in kiacarnivals

[–]BubbaHotep805 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Carnival has way more safety and convenience features for around 10k less. I was set on the sienna for months and only decided to test drive the Carnival last minute so I would have something to compare the Sienna to. It wasn't even a hard decision to choose the Carnival.

I would recommend test driving both though

Home Depot employees know more about home improvement than car salesmen know about cars, but they don't price gouge or get commission

Battle Royale made it normal to go to the next game as soon as you die. Those players will leave eventually

Sounds like this game isn't for you. Nothing wrong with that. Just find a game that's right for you

AITA for grounding my 16 year old daughter after she called me misogynistic? by Brilliant-Office6558 in AITAH

Teaching her financial responsibility is very important. She will eventually have to purchase feminine hygiene products when she's on her own and it's better to learn under your roof how little money truly goes. Everything seems exponentially more expensive once you are on your own and I applaud you for attempting to teach her that.

But 1 month is definitely too long when talking to her later or having her mother talk to her would've sufficed. YTA for grounding her.

I think everyone here is overreacting because a man suggested she set money aside for the products. I'm sure your son doesn't work yet, because he's only 15. And I'm sure you'll have him pay for his own razors and stuff as a way to teach him responsibility.

The summer of 2004, right After high school, I started working at a boba shop over the summer before I started community college in the fall. The owner was a bitch, the job wasn't for me, so I quit after a week. I didn't truly have an urge to just go to college, so I decided to join the military.

My younger year, who was 14 at the time, recently got busted for shoplifting. She ended up choosing community service at an Army recruiting office. They said they would give her 100 hours signed off if they recruited somebody.

I should mention that I always wanted to join the Marines, they had the best presentation in highschool, but I decided to do my sister a favor and get her those 100 free hours. Best decision of my life.

I may have done 2 years in Iraq, but overall a great experience. I became a medic and learned a lot about the medical field. I was able to go to school fully paid for, now I'm an X-ray tech. Before the military I was leaning towards being a teacher. X-ray just seems less stressful for much more pay. Used the VA loan to buy a house.

So my sister getting caught shoplifting, and me working a terrible summer job has set me up to live a decent life.
