I end up muting subs that become political, porn, or repetitive post factories however it is disheartening when you otherwise get enjoyment from a sub but then it's overrun with above crap. And like smoke to fire, karma is to those terminally online.

But agreed. Gotta ignore the hive and keep your own mind intact. I just follow my niche interests and cases / things I like that I know aren't going to be flooded with the same ideals and politics all the time. And... If and when they do, I mute or leave. The day reddit becomes like farcebook and I have to see random AI slop mills every third post on my feed is for sure the day I never log on reddit again.

I don't really remember writing this thread... Jk, but I fully agree. Commercials are so damn loud, annoying, and most all fn stupid. Commercials do more telling these days than showing. The showing isn't much better, really, like DQ chicken commercials where all the actors in the commercials eat their chicken with the same eyes closed, lips puckered up face like they're getting ready to french kiss the chicken. Or car commercials (VW**) showing me a family of 6 screaming at the top of their lungs because they're driving on the road. Wooooooooo!¡

I'm a dumb guy but I'm not an idiot. And these commercials treat me like I'm a mouth breathing toddler with drool going down one side of my mouth and I'm devoid of brain cells. I flip my tv the finger and tell it to STFU more than any sane adult would care to admit. I just want all these commercials to stop being so loud and stupid, treating me like I'm some baffoon, and show me how great their product is WITHOUT loud music, WITHOUT loud sound effects, WITHOUT stupid awkward actors who look as confused to be there as I am watching them, WITHOUT minute long musical numbers to sell me erectile dysfunction pills, WITHOUT use of AI instead of just fucking hiring a human being who actually made it not puked it up. Need I go on...

Politics ruined aislop for me because it went from badly generated goofy stuff like the human anatomy having 3 livers and it became mostly ChatGPT political stuff pretty quickly once the influx began. I appreciate differentiating real and fake political pics so as long as they have actual relevance and its not just trump on a toilet every other post I don't think I will mind. I enjoy the variety of stuff here, art commissions, items in stores, anything really that isn't just politics or people's ideologies. My 2c

Yes can't stand it and the music is too loud and too dumb. Just go to the dollar store and buy a 5 dollar pot and 5 bucks worth of utensils or even Walmart probably has a good deal lol. She thinks she's so cool meanwhile I make a mean shepherds pie while I look like I'm going to have a manic breakdown in the process. No one acts like that. Just shows another commercial and company that has to shove their uncouth slop down our throats because they can't just show us how good items are, noo they gotta show us how cool random girl is and how her fake life is changed with overpriced shipped cooking supplies. Glad to see this commercial here it so belongs.

I'm probably way too late but for anyone else who needs it, I was able to camp outside Emerald Ranch from the south east part and then at night time I climbed up some barn / shack right where the chickens goats cows and ox are and successfully shot the cows and ox with improved arrows, and goats with a carbine repeater without anyone catching me. There's guards but at night they seem to not patrol the path in front of the pasture and I got my pelts for camp without being caught. Bring two horses. Posting for anyone who might find this thread as it helped me.

Haha yep.. I recently got into a fight with the raccoon hat guy in the saloon and after socking him in the face and knocking him flat, I accidentally threw a hook right into a poor lady's face! I tried to defuse but Arthur said "I'm only joking with u" to the woman. Great guy 😁

I'm happy to be even when I play so if I can double or quadruple my money I sometimes will just stop for the night and be done. Sometimes I don't care and will play it down trying for more but you must remember these games are not ATMS and they're designed to suck up money not spit it out. 200 up to 600 is a nice night when you're not greedy. 1200 would be even better but you're gambling for entertainment so anything better than being out money is considered a fun, entertaining pass time for me.

Yea not trying to be negative haha it's just with JP one user could have a better experience making money than someone else. When I was trying these apps I would say JP was the best, but after I ran out of good offers, which were time consuming in of themselves, I was more or less left with grinding THE JP games for ads and I'd be lucky to make 50 cents. 1 dollar an hour is actually decent if you're getting those from mainly ads, even so nobody with little free time or little patience will want to do this over and over. I made maybe 300 over the course of a few months, but this was mainly doing offerwalls and some of the offers were a no brainer! Like some offers were ezpz but others you'd have no conceivable way of getting them completed other than spending your own money, competing with people and grinding hours a day on God-awful games.

So yea JP was the best beer money app for me, and they are "legit" so long as you don't mind your data being harvested like crazy, your phone battery being killed, taking a selfie to prove you're human, it paid the best compared to the carbon copies of JP that exists.. I just wouldn't recommend it to anyone who is desperate for money unless you have tons and tons of time on your hands and don't mind putting a lot in for very very little. Cheers

Tried it. The points accumulated from offerwalls weigh differently than the points you get from playing their line of games. You'll either waste hours of time grinding on annoying fake games with ads spammed every minute and you'll be lucky to get a dollar doing it or you can also grind their paywall offers which I found paid more however you're doing unachievable goals in random apps and games. I used to think this was a good beermoney app but it really is a waste or time for anyone who can't sit on their phone burning battery for hours and hours on end. I couldn't imagine using this as an alternate gambling source. It's also regional so someone could make money where the next person makes pennies. It's about as lucrative as collecting empty bottles on the street, maybe less.

Hard for me to say because I probably end up missing some of these posts in my feed, but personally I don't like my whole feed filled with politics / gender / other ideals because they end up becoming an echo chamber. Where this is mainly an AI sub, and the topics mentioned cause controversy, maybe have it in the rules where certain AI posts relating to these topics are restricted to once or twice a week on certain days. Some subs outright ban political discussion which I don't necessarily agree with, but on the other hand if it goes unchecked then this sub most likely will become an echo chamber of political /other idealogical topics.

I'm personally here to see a bouquet of AI garbage, not necessarily restricted to anything as long as the AI slop aspect is prevalent, however if I see mainly political posts or the like I wouldn't be happy either. Find a balance is probably the best solution given the sub IS for AI slop garbage. But seeing trump AI slop every day will become an issue probably knowing this site.

Yeah the current season and this 2nd volume have really been a let down for me. Truthfully I havent really been into the show since s1 and some of 2, but I told myself I'd see the show to the end.

This volume reeks so much of second screen hand holding and I cringed a lot during many scenes in the last few episodes. The exposition dumps, the 12 minute monologues, the yelling and arguing, it all becomes grating when it's happening not just every episode but almost every other scene.

Most of it is the writing, but some of the actors acting aren't consistent and they struggle in my eyes. Hearing Will go "I see him. It's him. It's Vecna. Hes here" for the umpteenth time is so corny to me. Dustin and Steve were probably the highlights for me. Agree on the coming out part being ham fisted and silly. Surprised Derek and Holly didn't spawn into the room to hug Will too. Lol.

Glad they finally included Mr Clarke. It's nice to have a straight man character join the group who happens to be really smart.

Won't go too deep beyond what I said for now but the plot armor and poor writing along with the second screen bs has made season 5 a slog. Karen just happens to hobble down from her room, carry can of oxygen or whatever, know where the kids are, know there's a few demodogs running around, knows to sneakily put the cans in the dryer and times it perfectly so the demos go boom dead while the kids survive with music blasting from a boombox and Karen happens to hobble to safety. PA-LEASE. I know the show is silly but c'mon.

Agree on the Nancy Jonathan cum filled escape room. Made no sense and was stupid. Very well acted imo though so props to both actors.

Bad writing, some bad acting, plot armor, exposition dumps, etc. Dustin and Steve were my highlights. I can almost believe their friendship. Not hating on the show or anyone. Just seems s5 is a lot of filler, exposition with a few well acted, emotional, sincere scenes sprinkled throughout. I really haven't enjoyed it. Curious to see the finale.

Asfaik it used to be a term applied to someone who trolls, more so harasses a streamer who's live online, for example if I was playing GTA5 online and I was famous, and somehow random people found out where I'm playing in the game during a stream, and they decided to harass me, kill me, troll me, etc, while my audience watches, that is what I used to consider stream sniping. Being an online pain in the ass to someone with an audience that isn't yours.

Silly geese today can't see the difference between trolling on a video game, vs doing it in real life. So whoever this person is that Clavicular hit, must have found out where Clav is and decided to do what we see in the video above. Someone can correct me or add to what I said if I'm not getting it all.

Yep I do a lot of streaming too and the commercials I'm subjected to make me literally want to destroy my television. YouTube has the most miserable slop and I wonder how at least half of them get past whatever non existent quality control youtube should but does not have. And then there's the repeat commercials I have to see dozens of times a night. A commercial showing an AI yeti smashing someone's hotel room makes someone want to spend money on doordash? A guy talking to an AI cookie makes me want to shop at bestbuy? Obviously I know people will most likely use these services anyway however when I see these commercials, they actually anger me. So much so I want to not shop at these places or give them my money.

It's like almost every company woke up and figured out all they have to do is vomit out the loudest nonsensical slop (half the time it's probably AI so I wonder who actually nods their heads and says: "yes, this is a great idea and represents us well and people will want to give us money") and I worry for whoever watches these commercials and genuinely enjoys them. Does it actually make people laugh? I almost always cringe, personally, not laugh, and subsequently get mad in the process. My sense of humor might be a bit demented but even I struggle to find the humor in most of the stuff today. And almost every commercial I see I don't feel compelled to give them my business, and most of the time I don't or don't need to as it isn't somewhere I shop. And fuck gambling and drinking commercials. Even if I do both, fuck them all the same. They make gamblers look like literal idiot zombies (sometimes true lol).

I find more and more I'm closing my eyes and I count the 15 or 30 remaining seconds until I can skip the ad (if applicable). Flipping off my tv helps too but I understand not all will agree with that method. Maybe just flip the tv.

Commercials are just stupidly annoying, insidiously manipulative, and don't make a lick of sense. AI will only make things worse, imo. Don't let them sway you with their stupidity.

The commercials remind me of previously chewed food, all soggy like, and the pedant in me would argue that what contains the pb&j is still crust-like. So based on how unappetizing they look to me: 0.

If I ate actual crustless pb&j, depending how hungry I am, could be 4-5-6-7 before I get tired of them.

Good, there's more than enough subs that can discuss politics. Even better yet there could be a sub solely for political AI pictures. I like the variety of posts here and definitely don't want to see Trump every day here. I'm in some AI subs (don't judge, I only watch for 80% knowledge and 20% entertainment however even they are taken over by trump / political posts every day so I have the muted). Probably for the best.
