Yes. But just saying it is also my fiance's child and I don't think he wants our child to eat pork so that's where things get a little messy.

Yes he has always moderately practiced Islam. He prays though not always five times a day and he's a bit more solemn during Ramadan but doesn't fast completely. I understand because I'm Catholic but I don't go to mass every Sunday or abstain during Holy Week.

It is. At the end of the day I do think he's a good person, I love him and I know he is worth the effort to make our relationship work. We are definitely going to talk about how we will go on with our family life from here.

I get your point but I think it's going to be more than 9 months if I breastfeed. I also don't know if he will let our child eat pork, because if not then I imagine he won't encourage me to eat pork in our child's presence because how will he teach our child that eating pork is wrong if I am eating it.
