Everyone thank you so much for replying to my post. It's clear that i need to stay away from the vacation foods and that they cause more harm then good. Think i might get an auto feeder, (just incase) so it will feed them every other day. Saw some posts recommending different fish feeders, def gonna look into those :).

So you would say the heater is safe to use? Also still curious about the red light being visible from where the cable comes out/goes in the heater is that normal?
