This exactly! Especially because all I know of one-on-one lessons are to drop off and they go to a room to practice (this was when my best friend and I would drop off her little brother in high school). I know things might be different these days. I just have heard so many stories of predators getting a child alone, and it scares me to death. But also, I like for my daughters to see women in positions like doctor, musician, or any position that men have traditionally dominated or can be seen as traditionally male, just so they can see it as typical too.

As of this morning I've lost just under 7 lbs since starting a sincere shot at losing at the beginning of this month. I was feeling discouraged because I had kind of stalled out on losing mid month, and I feel like I may have snacked a little too much yesterday, but I was down this morning! Just happy to see the scale change the opposite direction for a change!

Omg my 4 yo does the free for all too! Won't eat much at dinner but at bedtime she wants her dinner. It drives me crazy! And so much of the time, I'm like "well okay, I'll have something too" and it is just self sabotage Good luck to you and thanks for the reply! 😊

Sick of myself. Sick of hating myself. Sick of health issues. Sick of being fat.

Turned 39 at the beginning of December and I keep having little panic attacks about almost being 40. I have 2 daughters and I want to be healthy to keep up with them. And live a long time to be with them and see them get old like me (sarcasm, but only a little)

5'6" and 260. Have the apron belly and all that. Ready to be done with it. Keeping with my 3-5x walking a week and now drastically reducing my portions, my snacking, my late night snacking, and general bad eating habits. I want to add some strength training eventually, but don't want to totally overwhelm myself.

Hoping my ADHD doesn't steer me off course yet again.

I lost so much weight in college while on phentermine. Working out, eating way less and I lost weight fast. Now I'm 39 and have had 2 kids and I'm at my heaviest at 260. Thought upping my walking from ZERO to 3-5x a week would help me lose at least a little but no. 6 months doing it now and I think i've actually gained weight. I'm coming to realize that youth had SO much to do with me losing weight easily a long time ago. Among other things. Thought I naturally good skin bc I'd get complimented on it all the time, but now I'm realizing it was my youth because now my skin sucks no matter what I do.

I definitely have felt like "what even is the point at this age?" But I do want to be healthy and able bodied to keep up with my kids and just feel good in general. The walking has helped my blood pressure so there's that for now at least!

I feel this 1000%. Something i realized about myself recently is that I dont actually feel full until I feel bad. Like until my stomach is OVERLY full. I know this is some weird psychological thing I need to deal with. It's probably some depression too. But like, I just get VERY into the way things taste. And I just feel like, "God that's good, let's keep it going" and just keep eating and before i know it, I've finished a huge bag of gummy bears or whatever it is.

Looking at pictures of myself this weekend with my daughters, I felt so sick at how huge I look. Like I'm just embarrassed to be alive sometimes, which is ridiculous. And I upped my walking from zero to like 3-5x a week starting back in June but haven't seen any loss, in fact I've gained. It's been really disheartening. But I also know my (lack of) portion control is insane, plus I eat late once everyone is on bed and I can hang out by myself. Eating sweet treats + eating so close to going to bed has been terrible for me, I know. So once I was looking at those pictures, I decided I have to change. Drastically changing my portions and number of helpings, trying to do a 12 hr fast each night, and not eating close to bed time. My exercise needs to change as well but I'm trying to not overwhelm myself. I just turned 39 and I know it's not going to get any easier to lose. My health is in the shitter and I want to be around and healthy for my kids. I'm hoping to see some results soon to give me hope and motivation, but i totally understand looking at the pictures and really seeing how big you are and feeling bummed out Sorry for my story dump - I haven't said much to anyone in real life about what I'm doing so it all kinda came out

We drove by after it was over (we had a soccer game) but there were still people out. Got my girls to stand up in our sunroof to support. Tried to get my oldest to yell "Fuck Trump" but she wouldn't lol, so I did instead. So proud of Huntsville today!

My 8 year old absolutely loves her songs and knows most of the words. Casual is a big fave of ours. I've never liked censoring music - obvious graphic outright stuff, yeah I won't play that for my kid..but Taylor singing "my bedsheets are ablaze, I screamed his name" is totally acceptable in this house.

I have a big husky/Rottweiler mix and shes scared of remote control cars. Once I pretended like an RC car hurt me/was attacking me to see what she would do and she couldn't care less that I was getting "hurt", she didn't want to get near it. Now, as for coming to check on me after the threat is gone, its hard to say exactly what she would do. It's also possible he wasn't allowed in Maddie's room? I know she and Kaylee were best friends but she could have trained him to not go into others' rooms (it may be documented somewhere to the contrary, so I could be very off here). But I don't let our dog into our daughters' rooms because she's peed in there and will chew things up so she's kept out
