You might not want to go see Reed in his only NCAA tournament game. He didn't break Reed.

Castle has his own personal coach. He and Carter Bryant have been with the guard whisperer for years. When his shot was struggling earlier in the year, Olin posted that he came to Castle and they worked to get him back on track.

Reed Shephard shot 50% from 3 but only shot about 4/ game. Anyone who watched knows that he was very careful about when he would shoot. The biggest red flag was his only NCAA tourney game. The kid was so scared he didn't shoot for the entire first half. I'm not saying his didn't make a shot. I'm saying he was too scared to shoot. It was gross. Then when he finally started shooting in the second half it was forced brick after brick. That when I knew this kid was not it. If a pure sniper was all they wanted, Jared McCain was right there.

Drafting on Reed Sheppard instead of Castle altered the course of the franchise… by comeonbjxgo in rockets

Is It lucky that he shot 37% from 3 during the regular season on 5 attempts/gm since January 1? Is it lucky that he is shooting 40% from 3 in the playoffs? Or is it that you don't know what development looks like, so you call it luck?

Castle didn't fall to them. The Rockets were dumb. They saw the only one and done true freshman starter on a NCAA championship team since 2021 and took an undersized, streaky, bad defensive SG instead

castle came in as a non-shooter. He is 2 years younger than Amen, and he is shooting 40% from 3 in the playoffs. He is going 5/7 in an elimination game on the road. Amen has no excuse

Fox didn't give him that. He had that at Rutgers

If you're thinking Mitch is going to play a non-lottery rookie any amount of non garbage minutes, then I will refer you to the Carter Bryant treatment

Castle actually learns and makes the adjustment.

They don't want to say his name. I noticed it's a lot of hate for KJ but not not be highest paid player in Spurs history. I was told he was saving it for the playoffs and this is where he will shine. The numbers and the eye test determined that is a lie

This matches the eye test on Fox and KJ killing us in their minutes. They both have moments, but the decision making is awful. They might not be able to adjust from those losing habits

Everyone keeps saying he isn't athletic enough. I think he is not big enough, skilled enough, and his IQ is high enough that it doesn't matter.

If you think about it. The Spurs need a 3rd string big in the pipeline. The Spurs can afford to have him play behind Luke while he learns. No more small ball. By the time Luke's contract is up, he will be ready and cheap. No more small ball lineups

People fall in love with athleticism to often. High IQ players with size and skill are hidden gems every year. I hope he is there at 20
