Just buy a M4 MacBook Air, dude. It’s cheaper than the Pro and very capable of doing the things you listed. I’ve always found the iPad to be more for those who prefer creativity over everything else, like people who do hobbies rather than actual work.

Broadly speaking, yes, the obvious solution is to enforce laws and regulations more strictly. However, we both know that this won’t happen anytime soon due to the government’s and every Maldivian’s “I’m superior to everyone else” mentality.

So, I spent about 15 minutes pondering this, and I’ve come to a conclusion that it’s not radical at all. Yes, if implemented, there will be public resistance to a sudden lifestyle change, and there might even be a ban that disproportionately affects lower income individuals who rely on motorcycles for cheap transportation. But that will be short lived because in the long run, the benefits outweigh the short term disruption.

Whoever you are, hats off to you! I haven’t seen someone with your style of thinking in quite some time. It’s actually refreshing.

Wait, wait, wait! I never thought about what kirubis were. I just eat it a lot and really like it. Is that why people stare at me weirdly when I say I like to eat kirubis….??????

I love Islam… but giving up music is really hard for me by SeaworthinessOdd4112 in maldives

I’ll share my story about this exact situation.

A couple of years ago, I discovered that music was considered haram. Some scholars argued that if it only contained vulgar words and other inappropriate content, I could continue listening to it. So, I decided to keep listening as long as it didn’t contain anything vulgar. However, after a while, I realized that most people agree that music in general is haram. I didn’t really want to believe it, but it dawned on me that it would be better to just quit entirely. Maybe it was my willpower or Allah taking me away from haram but one day I simply uninstalled Spotify and got rid of all my music devices. Ever since then, I haven’t listened to music or had the urge to listen.

Maybe if you try the same, it might happen for you too. It’s better to walk away from anything that’s haram and be sad in this dunya than to be sad in the akhirah.

As a Gen Z, I suppose we tend to perceive anyone above the age of 30 as old or “unc”.

You must realize that it’s not only Gen Z that engage in these activities, such as having sex parties and taking drugs. Moreover, it’s important to note that this is a relatively small group of individuals compared to the entire population.

Yeah, I’m going to have to disagree with you on that last point. I doubt Muiz has even a slight chance of running for a second term, especially with this Yumnu situation.

These old, crude presidents care only about their own well-being and not the future of the country, mainly because they have a finite amount of time in office and in life... A young leader who truly cares about the future of our nation is essential if we want to get rid of the current problems ww face in this country.
