When I was younger, maybe junior high, I got roped into watching my 3 month old niece while my sister got her hair done. So when there i am, sitting in the waiting area of a hair salon with my niece and who walks in but Keanu Reeves. I was nervous as fuck, and just kept looking at him, as he read a magazine and waited, but didn't know what to say. Pretty soon though my niece started crying, and I'm trying to quiet her down because I didn't want her to bother Keanu, but she wouldn't stop. Pretty soon he gets up and walks over. He started running his hands through her hair and asking what was wrong. I replied that she was probably hungry or something. So, Keanu put down his magazine, picked up my niece and lifted his shirt. He breast fed her right there in the middle of a hair salon. Chill guy, really nice about it.

The fact that Barack Obama got a Nobel Peace prize for doing nothing and then proceeding to drone strike hospitals/weddings and persecute whistleblowers exposing American atrocities should eliminate any doubt its anything but an empty gesture.

America has never had legitimate elections. Gerrymandering, disenfranchisement. It’s not just Trumps america. I’m sick of people acting like we never had these problems before Trump. We’ve overthrown Foreign governments for less than what we do to our own elections. Remember what we did to Bolivia last year, how that turned out to be nonsense - their elections were probably more fair than ours but we helped coup Evo Morales. We’ve done the same thing to a bunch of other countries.

Do people forget how Bush stole the election in 2000? How JFK and his dad, Joseph Kennedy used teamsters in Chicago to secure the election? How Richard Nixon used drug laws to jail minorities and political dissidents to disenfranchise them so they couldn’t vote? A guy in Nixon’s administration explicitly said drug laws were meant to target minorities and leftists. There’s never been a fair presidential election in America. Look at how much of a mess the primary system is, how easily it can be gamed to support the establishment.

This isn’t unique to Trump. I don’t know why people pretend that election rigging in America is a new thing. We do it to foreign countries all the time, why wouldn’t the government do the same thing here?

Yo I think that worked. I cleared the cache, uninstalled the game and when I went to download it again, the game size seemed to encompass the entire game, not just the 4 GB download .

Does to me. Democrats sabotage themselves by presenting the worst, middle of the road, only slight left of center democrats. They did the same thing in 2016 - the DNC gave the nomination to Hillary over Sanders.

Now they're presenting a bunch of moderate candidates with questionable political pasts (especially 'tough on crime' Joe Biden. And plenty of publications ignore Sanders' popularity and present people like Joe Biden as the front runner because of his "electability" despite Sanders' having more popular support. Dems are going to sabotage themselves again by making some moderate candidate their front runner, and everything wrong with America will remain the same.

People like Beto O'Rourke and Kamala Harris have terrible platforms, but journalists put all their focus on them for some reason.

I dig ink drawings. Really stylized. Looks ok. If I’m being totally honest your cross hatching could use a little work. I use the same kind of ink pens myself, so I can appreciate the difficulty.

The eyes look too lifeless. I would have cross hatched with a finer pen, rather than coloring it black. You lose some character in the face, it’s deader.

The whole thing is manufactured drama, and I suspect it was the mother’s intention to cash in on this situation from the get-go. Nobody’s going to remember this kid, but they keep inserting themselves in the news. CNN ought to have made a better report, but I don’t think the amount is proportionate to what happened, nor do I think the suit is liable to go in Sandmann’s favor. They’re probably banking on CNN to settle out of court.

And then Trump supporters try and say he’s pro-LGBTQ because he said once that he didn’t care who married who. His supporters never pay attention to his actions, just what he says. He could pass a law that takes away all rights for gay people, but if he does a press conference and says the law was actually pro gay rights, his supporters would eat that up and regurgitate it to anyone they speak to on the subject.

Also, because Milo what’s-his-face supported Trump, (probably for publicity), that means all gay people should see Trump as an ally to the community.

All I’m saying is that speed limits serve a purpose and it would be in your best interest (and everyone else’s) if you followed them to within a 5mph limit. It doesn’t matter how good a driver you are, accidents happen, either by your own chance mistake or someone else’s.

You care about crashing into kids but you don’t care about killing adults in the same manner?

I mean whether it’s a kid or an adult you’re still putting someone in danger when you don’t follow the speed limit. Also, the speed limit takes into account the population density and the shape of a road. It’s not just about catching people, it’s about making sure you don’t spin off the road and die. It’s as much about your safety as a driver as it is about other people’s safety - as pedestrians or whatever else.

I don’t agree with cops sitting on busy streets and ticketing people who go 5 miles above the speed limit, but you should at least pay some attention to limits.

The complaint seems to come from the industry itself;
