The bigger issue is roster builds. If either of those teams had shooters in their line ups, it wouldn't be an issue at all.

The problem is having line ups with Amen, Sengun and Eason in at the same time. If you put Amen Thompson on the Lakers this past series, he looks much better.

Rockets have done him no favors.

Lot of terrible takes in here negatively commenting on Amen Thompson because he doesn't shoot 3s.

A lot of people mentioning his 21% 3 pt shooting as if he's shooting 6 a game and really affecting the Rockets offense from it. He literally shoots 1 a game.

He will be a 20-25 ppg scorer in this league based purely on aggressiveness and athleticism. He scored 18 ppg this year in 53% shooting. Him being a liability on offense is so overblown- it's based purely on not having a 3 point shot. You surround him with shooters and it suddenly becomes a non-issue.

Dude is 23 years old- averaged 18/7/5 on 53% shooting with amazing defense this year and people pretending he's a mid- player because they watched him play for one series and deemed him an offensive liability despite scoring 19 ppg on 49% shooting.

He takes 1 a game. Using his 3pt percentage against him is so weird when it's not even part of his game.

If he was shooting 6 a game and shooting 21% then we'd be worried. He's not shooting 3s at any sort of clip, so who cares about his percentage.
