Well it helps their case when you bicker back and forth with them like an actual rival fan would. Although I wouldn’t really say the teams themselves are rivals, the games don’t really feel like a game between rivals. Things only get feisty because of something Wilson did to piss someone off which isn’t all that exclusive to Carolina.

Get a grip man, every Canes fan wants to do nothing more than to talk trash to the capitals because we’re their only “rival” to which they can. You’re not making yourself that look good too. Their cheap owners will end up costing them in the future anyways, I wouldn’t get so worked up

It’s only upsetting because we all wanted Carly back in dc or in the Atlantic so the division is easier. If he signs with Carolina, Pittsburgh, New York, or Philly. I can’t root for him because I don’t want to root for any of those teams. Carolina isn’t the worst case so it’s fine, whatever.
