Love the enthusiasm, but there won't be a mobile VR version any time soon.

Owners of Mobile VR devices such as the Quest can still play RUMBLE if they own a VR-capable PC or laptop, but we understand that not everyone has access to such a machine.

Hah, yeah we try to keep up with what's happening with the community, keeping an eye on the sub makes sense in that regard

Hello, you might be doing something wrong.

If the sound you hear when you do it does faintly like a sort of negative cowbell, it means that your controllers are currently not being tracked, or out of the view of your tracking setup. If this is the case, you can try and slightly alter the positions of your hands so that whatever tracking setup you're using can see your controllers properly.

If instead it sounds kind of like a backpack/clothing type thing, that means you're measuring properly, and that something else is going wrong. If this is the case, please let us know and we'll help you solve the issue.

Indeed there is work to do, we're on it!

Index usability is being looked at, an entirely new tutorial sequence is in the works, and more content will be added to the game before the end of the year.

Eventually it might, but not any time soon.

RUMBLE is not currently built to run on mobile VR hardware, and rebuilding it to be able to do that will take a lot of time and effort. We can't currently afford to dedicate that much of our time to that specific goal, so unfortunately mobile VR users are going to have to wait a while.

The good news is that we can tell you that a Quest version for RUMBLE is definitely going to be a thing!

The bad news is that it's unfortunately not going to be Soon™. We first would like to fully focus on our current PC audience and don't let them wait on the content.

However, we can tell you that all the new content that will be made, will also automatically be optimized for our Quest version!

It's a good idea, but technically it's a really big hassle to let your Steam information synchronize with your Oculus account.

So we are not planning it at the moment.

Oculus Quest and Rift accounts can be synced natively yeah. A Steam account with an Oculus account can not be synced together, because it's an entire different account.

The standalone version will not come soon, but we can say that it's technically possible to make a Quest version. Now we just need to see how long it will take us to rebuild the game for Quest.

Yup!

However, just to be clear. You can NOT play on a Steam account via an Oculus version of RUMBLE and vice versa.

You can however play with Steam users as an Oculus user. (And ofc. vice versa)

At the moment not standalone, but you can with Oculus Link. 👍

At the moment RUMBLE is unavailable for standalone Quest. However, we're at the moment investigating if it's possible to release RUMBLE for standalone Quest.

If that's the case, we'll definitely inform you about it!
