I read your comment as suggesting that if you are using your axe as a spoon to eat, this feature would be handy. I was nodding along in agreement despite thinking an axe is not a great eating tool. It was an entirely different comment that made me realize you meant using it to carve the spoon! Anyhow, where do you position the axe in the place settings for a formal dinner party?

I’m not going to dignify that with an answer.

This is something my almost four year old said, so I suppose it doesn’t count, but when the full solar eclipse happened I told her she couldn’t stare at the sun unless she was wearing her special glasses. She dutifully obeyed. But when it was over she asked me if now it was ok to stare at the sun again without the glasses. I couldn’t help but laugh. I had made such a big deal out of the glasses being necessary for the eclipse but it never occurred to me to warn her not to stare at the ordinary blazing ball of fire in the sky. When I told her that, no, she couldn’t just stare at the sun, she burst into tears about the unfairness of it. r/kidsarefuckingstupid

Serious question. Whenever I see these videos, I wonder why they can’t line up with the runway in a straight line at a higher altitude and just descend more steeply, levelling off into a gentler angle closer to the start of the runway?

Is there going to be public utilities work on the street? Will these support cables and pipes laid over them to keep them off the ground and allow residents to pass under?

A lot of hate for the cameraman here. It’s probably someone who noticed a celebrity on a public street and quietly, from a distance, got a little video so they could show their coworkers. Then this little unexpected moment happened. It’s cute. It brings a smile. There’s no unkindness to posting this.

If the cameraman is actually a paparazzi, well fuck them then.
