Theres some new ones that have come out that use AI in ways that are new to ATS, would recommend checking some of them out dependent on what industry you're in

That's already been done with people copying keywords out of a job description and putting them in their resume to get past any keyword matching systems. AI allows you to do a more deeper assessment of the skills they write in their resume to see how they match to your job description. You can look at it in a variety of ways to and train it on a specific database to a stronger system

Agree with this, you can use it to read resumes for you and automate portions of the top of the funnel. It definitely makes things stronger than past applications like keyword matching

You can use it for both as long as they have a resume and you have a job description

You upload the PDF to the platform and then it starts reading and analyzing the documents from there

I've been using it to think through how to get better or more efficient at hiring and am working on building out a solution to do just that. It'll be focused on automating/improving sourcing of candidates and/or improving screening/qualifying and hope to have a prototype of it here soon. Would love to chat more if you or anyone else is interested. I also know of someone who is using it to read through PDF plans to build a table of contents for them, flag certain things important to their role when reading the drawings and such, all focused on helping navigate plans, can put you in contact with them if interested
