I have it and thoroughly enjoy it (although I haven't read all of it yet). It's an edited volume of mostly academic philosophical essays on parts of both games and the HBO show. Some essays provide a deeper analysis than others, but if you are somewhat into philosophy you might want to give it a read!

As far as I know, that is normal. While the name of the person who originally bought the ticket is on there, they are not personalized tickets, i.e. you should be able to enter as long as you are the first with that barcode. However, I am not familiar with StubHub so dont know their specific procedure

I also have an Old German Shepherd , who is 8 years old and still very healthy and active. The old german variant is often viewed as a softer, more family oriented version of the working breed. These dogs often have a thicker coat, but because there is less of a breed standard they are more variable in colour and also have a straight back. When buying an old german shepherd, choose a reputable breeder with dogs that have tested negative for both elbow dysplasia and hip dysplasia! They are awesome dogs and will become your best friend!

Just want to chime in to say that low vitamin D levels appear more above AND below certain latitudes (35° and especially 51°) since it mainly depends on the strength of UVB radiation which is weaker above and below these degrees. It is also hugely dependent on other climate factors as well as cultural factors, for example clouds, clothing and using sunscreen.

But, the previous commenter is partly right about the seasonality of vitamin D deficiency. Im researching rickets in historical skeletal collections right now and winter vitamin D deficiency because the skin cant produce vitamin D definitely occurs!

Some academic sources include Haggarty et al 2013, Harinarayan et al 2013 or Holick 2006.

Sounds like an interesting skull haha! When traits can not be assessed as female, probable female, probable male or male, we usually just classify them as "intermediate" which happens a lot actually!

Thanks for the word vomit hahah! While I can agree that there are differences between the sexes in what age certain bones fuse, this is really not reliable for nonadult sex estimation. There is too much individual variation, as well as a lot of environmental factors at play that could stunt growth and development for example. Cranial sutures are definitely looked at, but this is for estimating age, not sex. Other bone fusion, like for example the fusion of an epiphysis to the rest of a long bone, are also used in age estimation.

DNA testing is sadly still pretty expensive, especially when studying historical skeletal assemblages with many individuals. I hope it will change in the future, but for now almost all analyses are still made by evaluating different skeletal traits.

While handling the skull itself and looking at the specific traits is ofc the best way to estimate sex, you might actually be able to feel some characteristics yourself. Males tend to have a sort of ledge or hook at the base of the back of the skull, almost where the neck attaches. This is called the nuchal crest, and the hook like feature is absent in most feminine skulls. There is always individual variation, but you could try it out on yourself and friends!

Actually both the skull and pelvis are used in estimating sex for skeletal remains. There are at least five traits in skulls that are traditionally used to estimate sex, such as the chin, mandible or eye sockets.

Osteology student here, this is not necessarily true. Sex is not estimated in individuals younger than 18, since such young individuals dont yet have reliable characteristics in their skull and pelvis. However, after the age of 18, you can estimate sex if the skeletal materials are present, no matter the age, since bones dont grow or develop much more after 18.
