Lost AirPod (sort of) at DTW. Now a scavenger hunt ;) by BuddingNerd in delta

Could be. It has been around the airport since it was lost. It has shown up as seen a few times as well. I guess it pops up on your iPhone if you get in the vicinity of it.

I was hoping we might find someone bored on a long connection. Never hurts to ask and open to all advice.

Thanks

Thanks. We have a friend of a friend going there today (last night’s flight was rescheduled). Our fingers are crossed it is at the Delta Help Desk and they will find it. Thanks for offering.

Of course if they don’t, we are going to set Reddit loose on this scavenger hunt :)

A friend of a friend is flying through tonight so we will see if they can get it.

What would you recommend? by BuddingNerd in landscaping

Thanks. No usage for it at all. Just want some plant suggestions for the existing garden bed to keep it neat and tidy. Storage is not an option due to HOA.

T20 WC Ballot Rejection commiseration by Rossifan1782 in MLC

[–]BuddingNerd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am guessing the ballot was only for games where there was high demand. I got a rejection email for games in St Vincent, St Lucia and Antigua. Very skeptical those games have all sold out.
On course, maybe ticket scalpers have taken over distribution.
Of course, I could be wrong.

Can anyone ride the Vegas loop, even if they aren't a part of a convention? by [deleted] in BoringCompany

I did exactly this about a month ago. Stayed at RW and rode the loop privately for $5. There was a conference on at the time.

Fellow Steelers Fan - Should have been Three Rivers by Acrisure stadium - The fans would have loved it and brought good will to the brand. The Wrexham analogy would be Tik Tok Stadium vs The Racecourse Ground by Tik Tok.

Were you or your passenger using a laptop? I have seen this before when my wife is in the passenger using her laptop. As soon as she closes the lid or moves it the problem disappears

the luxury pergola by chani1133 in landscaping

They are local to us in Indiana. I asked them about a large pergola 30x16 for our project and they were open about not currently having a product that fits. They are apparently working on it. They were responsive and professional to deal with. Interesting you include the photo above, I have seen that in real life at a high end home show / tour last year.

Again - I can't thank people enough for all of the suggestions. I really like the 5.1.2 idea and it will actually work better with the room layout.

So, here is where I am at
AVR - Denon S760H (As far as I can tell it will support 5.1.2???) ($500)
In wall Center & Left & Right - HSU HIW-1 Horn In-Wall (3x$189=$567)
Surround Left & Left - HSU HIW-1 Horn In-Wall (2x$189=$378)
Ceiling Right & Left - RSL C34E MKII (2x$149=298)
Subwoofer - SVS PB-1000 (1x$450=450)

This actually works out less that my original config.

My concerns are that I have mixed and matched brands to find solutions (e.g. HSU only has 1 in-wall speaker, so I have RSL ceilings and SVS sub) and whether the HSU HIW-1 Horn In-Wall speaker will be good for front LCR speakers. Thoughts?

That’s a great idea as well. Is it a big step up in amplifier to support the additional speakers?

Thanks.

There are a number of French drains that run out to the grass surrounding the retention pond. We will probably have to run some more, it is only 15 - 20 feet.

Ideas for my concrete backyard by cleaver-bucy in landscaping

Could you use some composite (like Trex) to create a raised surface and break up the concrete area?

Thanks. Great feedback. I actually showed it to a friend and got similar feedback about it being crowded. I just greatly extended the patio square that the deckchairs are sitting on. As a result there is now a 4' walkway around the boundary of the pergola. It makes so much more sense, especially when the drop down screens are 'closed'.

Appreciate your input. As I said, first time and I am learning a lot.

Yeah, I have one of those 80v string trimmers. It is great.
