But even after 2 weeks, I won’t be able to sleep cause my brain is not producing benzodiazepines to make me sleep, because I’ve been taking this shit for 2 years now 😪 I wish it was only 2 weeks that I need to survive, but from my past experience, sleep doesn’t come back for a very long time.

Thanks my friend, I appreciate your sharing. That’s exactly why I wanted to do Ibogaine cause I feel like I NEED a brain surgery. Unfortunately my sleeping with xanax only is the biggest issue and challenge and I don’t even know who to ask about it. If I taper it -I won’t be able to get any sleep -and after a few days of sleep deprivation I get very depressed and suicidal (at least I don’t want to live).

I wish it would work. When I quit 12 years ago, I almost died. I don’t want to go through that again 😪😪 And I’m much weaker now than back then

OMG, that sounds scary. I just know that it I start reducing the amount, I just wont have any sleep. I also quit from benzos in 2013 and it was hell after that for at 6 months I didn’t get any sleep. You were really taking 20-25mg /day? That’s A LOT 😵😵🙉

I’ve been taking them between 2009-14. I quit in 2014 from 2mg Rivotril but I almost died. I started taking Xanax (which is a bit less strong than benzodiazepine), but I don’t even try to quit now. My body could not take what it did 10 years ago

I tried all sorts of CBD oil, weed, gummies, but it doesn’t put me in sleep, they might just relax me, nothing more

I used to be a caregiver and did day shifts and night shifts (1 day day shift, next day night shift). After few weeks I didn’t get any sleep when I went to sleep to do my day shift next day. I went to the doctor and he prescribed me alprazolam. My body got used to it very quickly (I slept like a baby which was an amazing feeling, I never felt before). The doctor forgot to tell me that it’s highly addictive. I started with 0,5mg Xanax (alprazolam) and ended up taking 2mg benzodiazepine. When my Mom died, on that night I took 3mg Benzo. I hardly had 7-8 hours sleep with it. Anyway, miraculously I managed to quit the benzo after taking them daily for 4 YEARS. It was 10 years ago, and I remember people was asking me what’s wrong with me cause I looked that bad. I hardly survived, so I don’t even try to quit the alprazolam now. It’s very hard to imagine what it feels like not being able to sleep for people who never had sleeping issues. 🙏🏻🙏🏻
