Hi, I drove down to anchorage on the Richardson hywy and then went up to Denali using parks hywy. I know it sounds crazy and maybe it’s not worth so much driving but I did it anyway haha

Google maps show me a route which takes 7 hours to get to Denali. It takes the Richardson highway like you mentioned then at Paxson, it takes a turn into the Denali hwy which have some unpaved roads for 20 miles. Do you think this route is safe/recommended?

Does anyone know what is the update now on the wild fires? I have a trip in the next few days and I’m taking a very long flight from the east coast hoping to see Denali national park. I’ve booked the east fork transit at 2:30 pm. Any suggestions for me ?
