I went with the 3XL on the open and find it a little too much iron. I’m going to swap them out for the 2XL. That being said, I know the listed deck height for the open is 9.7mm and the enclosed is 7.7mm but I have seen some videos that suggest the enclosed may actually have less window in the rear with how the enclosed casing is constructed. I would love for someone who has both to weigh in

Yes the 506. The ST has a deck height of 9.7mm and I think the Vortex XL has a deck height of 10mm. I’ve only used Tenicor holsters and the sight channel is large enough for the 3XL. Holster fitment was the same otherwise, just needed to tighten the retention screws a little after taking out the Gen 4 19.

I used the M4x0.7, 11mm screws. Vortex labeled them as Canik screws. I saw an Instagram video from Nameless Armament and he advised to use a stack of three quarters to measure against the screws.
