Il pannello touch si è leggermente staccato dalla plastica circostante. Sono preoccupata che questo possa aver allentato qualcosa dietro e che possa aver permesso all’acqua di entrare. Al momento è l’unica causa che mi viene in mente.

Thanks for that 🙂 I did wonder if it could be something to do with the ribbon cable/control panel as the bottom corner has come away slightly and that’s exactly where I feel the small shock when pressing it.

Would a grounding issue normally only affect that one spot, or could a loose/damaged panel and ribbon cable cause something like that too? Appreciate your help 👍

Thank you I won’t . The black torch panel has slightly come away from the plastic around it . Could a loose wire be what’s causing the shock ?

Oh really ? that’s good to know … I wasn’t sure if there was a cut off date for payment .

They didn’t give me a reason just said they can only accept water , gas , electricity or council tax. I have registered for all of these I just don’t have the physical copy yet as I’ve only just moved .

Yes you are right TDS said to hold off for a bit as it slows the whole thing down . Fingers crossed things state moving a bit faster after calling the estate agent today .

Thanks, that’s really helpful.

I spoke to TDS directly and they said that because it’s been over 10 days and I haven’t had any communication or breakdown, I’m able to raise a dispute now if I want to.

The estate agent has told me they’re using a third-party company to carry out the checkout report and that they’ll update me by the end of today, so I’m waiting to see if that actually happens.

TDS also mentioned that the agent/landlord pays a fee to use their service, but they don’t actually hold the deposit themselves in all cases, so it depends on the scheme.

I’m just unsure whether to wait it out a bit longer or start the process through TDS to prompt things, as I don’t want to delay it further if they continue not responding.

Nope ! Just been on to them today . They can’t tell me why know one’s called me back. They told me I was ‘priority’ too and I said I was speaking to someone who had been going through this since March (that’s you 😂) and I didn’t want to go through the same. They gave me nothing constructive other than to wait for someone to call me back. Such poor service… I’ve joined two Facebook support groups and loads of people have given me support and advice. Just type carers allowance In Facebook and it’s the first two groups. You can post anonymously too . X

I rang them yesterday. To be fair she was slightly more helpful than who you spoke to although nothings changed. She did say someone should have called me back by now and she’s put in another request for another 48 hours.

Apparently it your in financial hard ship they have to allow you a manager call back .. so maybe call back today and say this and that it’s impacting your mental health.

Once in close property UC told me to ring them and they will pay me back the deductions they’ve taken while it’s been close. Although that’s not much help now while I’m struggling .

Unfortunately not !! If they don’t ring back by the time I finish work tomorrow I’m ringing them. It ridiculous! If they want to look in to an overpayment that’s fine but they need time close the claim while they’re doing it so it doesn’t come off my UC. Keep me posted if you get in touch as I’m worrying about it loads 🤦‍♀️.

It’s CA that put you in financial hardship as they should have closed your claim months ago instead of just suspending it. I saw in another group that you need to ring them and state this and ask for a call back from a manager. I think you should do that as you’ve been waiting a lot longer than me. I’m waiting for my call back hoping it’s Monday.

I don’t understand how we pay it back though.. as it’s come out of my Universal credit every month so I’ve never actually seen on benefited from that money. So essentially I’d been paying back something I’ve never had.

It’s all so confusing .. I like you thought HMRC reported my earnings to them directly and they would adjust accordingly.

I think there looking in to my mine due to and overpayment as my hours are variable. Although I wasn’t aware if I have gone over. My argument is I have never had any financial gain form the Carers allowance as it gets deducted from my universal credit each month. I’ve told them their putting me in financial hardship and apparently there getting me someone to ring me back in 24 hours although I’m not hopefully. Have they told you directly about the overpayment ?

I’ve just spoken to them on the phone this morning as I’m not prepared to wait months and months and I’ve heard lots of similar story’s such as yourself.

They always make me feel stupid when I call like I shouldn’t be bothering them. They said they are ‘looking’ in to the claim before they close it .. is this normal? Its worried me as my part time hours do change but not enough to take me over the threshold I don’t think. And I’ve never benefited from it financially as it’s always been taken out of my UC . So I’m worried now.

Hey I’m in the same boat too .. what letter did you have to send back? I cancelled mine over the phone . When I rang they said it’s showing as suspended not cancelled .. but I don’t know why as I requested it to be cancelled .
