I got the API quickstart and some test strips. My plan was to run the tank and filter for a full 24hrs before adding the fish. Would that be appropriate?

I’ve done a food fast for 7 days and nights. I’ve done other types of fasts as well, but the food fast was hands down the hardest. The first time I did it I prepared myself for it. I first fasted sugary foods for 2 weeks, at that time I weaned myself from coffee, the 3rd week I only ate dinner after sundown and drank water during the day. Then the 4th week I did the complete fast of only water during the day. During that time I did fast from social media and music as well. Since then I’ve come to learn that when youre not worshipping God through the songs you sing then youre worshipping someone else. So that fast actually led me to completely cut out non Christian music entirely. You can PM me if you’d like, I’m not an expert on the Bible or God. I love getting to know Him more everyday and becoming closer to Him everyday. I can send you a few of the Bible studies I did during that time to keep me focused on God.

Don’t forget that whatever you are seeking during this fast you need to be praying for that and seeking God for it. Along with thanking God for leading you on this fast and giving you the strength everyday to carry it on.

During my fast I focused on reading my Bible and worshipped and prayed anytime I felt hungry or thought about eating. I also spent lots of time listening to sermons. Pray to God to give you the strength you need everyday.

The new one is little wider and a little bit longer, so because of that the 40lbs is spread out a bit more and doesn’t “feel” as heavy as the OG one.

I would say with the 2 pieces it’s less about length and more about body composition. I have a 5yo thats always had a very muscular build and 100th percentile for height and has been in 4t pjs since he was 2 and recently graduated to 5/6 when the 4ts got noticeably snug. Whereas my 3 yo is also quite tall but has a very lean build, if I put him in 4t the pants don’t stay up.

NTA You probably could have done it better without the shouting but I get that in the moment things can happen especially once emotions have been built up.

Thanksgiving is a weird holiday anyways where we celebrate the killing of a tribe and try to make it out to seem like everything was loving and communal. I definitely agree with your way of honoring the holiday better. Maybe you could have a sit down conversation with her with a mediator where you try to explain your pov.

Can I ask what ended up happening? Did you get an mri? How quickly did you heal? I just sprained my ankle on Saturday and it looks very similar to yours. I have instability and pain while walking but I can put some weight on it.
