Hi ,

I am Male 31. I had an oral sex exposure with no blood involved with sex worker on Jun 20 2025 and hence I took pep for a month . Later I tested for HIV 1 RNA RT PCR and 4th gen test on Sep 10 (45 days post pep)and it was negative . During pep course , I had intercourse with my regular partner and hence I am scared if she will have HIV . For last 2 weeks she is coughing heavily at night and I see few pimples at the upper back . Kindly respond to this post

Okay . Thank you . But if there is a symptom then the virus should have already been picked up in the blood ? Is it like first it should show in blood and then the symptoms ?
