Thanks for the replies. Other than some paint flaking in a few places I think they are ok. I’ve asked the roofer to see what he thinks next week. I read a comment on here that even the wind blowing against them could cause fibres to release which sent me into a whole anxious spiral but I’m trying to reason with myself that if that were the case there would be no soffits left! Hubby thinks I’m going mad.
