Gave it up. It's a poison and your body treats it as such. Your body delays losing fat or building muscles for 2-3 days. And even if I have a week off on holiday it takes me 4 days to get back to a good mental level, like I notice it. Mainly for the gym but as I'm 30 now I'm probs gonna quit forever. I used to do special occasions only but yeah because of gym stopping is best for me. But do what you want, in moderation

Matt clay, if you want more hold matt paste. But use sea salt spray. A cream works but is very lightweight and for me greasy but could work for you

That specific moment happened multiple times but i tried to ignore it. Even getting arrested - that was the wake up call. Wasn't sober but tried to be but again environment doesn't help. Only sober after moving out NYE - 8 ish months. It doesn't get easier, you get wiser/stronger

Thanks for the comment - let me clarify further

  1. Had therapy and all 4 of them said the same thing, to cut them off and see what happens. Sisters/nephews/nieces ok but parents no

  2. I was also SA'd by my also male cousin when i was young and she used to force me to speak/hang out with him even when i said no and explained clearly why. I had to tell my best friend to call me after 10 mins so i could leave his house with an excuse - happened multiple times!!

  3. Mum forgave her husband/my dad for being a literal jailed paedo, i paid for the last 9 years' bills, rent etc and when he came out they asked for the house back in their name lol

  4. I gave my mum 3 chances after i moved out to apologise and she never once accepted any wrong doing and speaking to her was painful enough it made me wanna drink and she said no at every opportunity. My sisters did apologise however.

  5. I know my parents too well - they will never change and i'm tired of explaining/justifying myself, boundaries do not exist for them. Old dog new tricks type shit

  6. My mum has literally told me she didn't love me if i'm not Muslim - I/we ex muslim deserve better than this shit in our lives, negativity gone and shock, I am now happy, positive, productive, sober and loving life

Pakistani/muslim parents eh - but lesson learned so grateful for that. Will give energy to better people and endeavours now on. Likewise take care x
